Yes they have indeed! Not had much done in terms of look but from speaking to the current team involved, lots have been done behind the scenes and much still to do. The beer was good to be fair, and they've had an upgrade in sound upstairs for bands. May be there on Friday yet.

Was involved with the Napier reopening and hopeful of getting down tomorrow- any more BRFCCers ever go there? I can imagine abbey with his music taste might be one!

New Camera Position In Riverside
JBiz replied to AshleyClifford's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
JHR - I agree on that, I'll not be moving from my seat in the riverside, sat there with my family for 20+ years! -
If we are relegated this season OOJW, the blame lies solely at the door of the owners. That doesn't mean he has a get out of jail card for ridiculous decisions, poor signings and poor results. I think many sense that we will be relegated this season, so if the barometer for success is survival, OC should be congratulated for such if it's achieved. I think I'll wait till September 1st before making a more definite prediction!

New Camera Position In Riverside

Crazy innit. Out of all the things the club needs to change, it spends money potentially annoying people further! That's not "dark forces", it's sheer ignorance and a poor prioritising. The letter is terrible also. Start by apologising, don't start by telling us what it's for. I've sat back of riverside since 92, bar one season lower (surrounded by an Allardyce out mob) in 2010. -
Before I saw DG I have to admit that I didn't rate him from fleeting replays on MOTD etc, however I really do rate his all round play - he has a great first touch and works hard. Can score goals and hold a ball up for the team, which isn't something we've had in previous seasons. If we can pick up a midfielder who can pick him out, I'd suggest we are looking in shape. If nyambe, Mahoney and a few of the others are ready to step up, we could have a bit of depth - all be it a bit inexperienced! The question that remains still is will we keep our other better players.

Why are they playing up front together? It's a cracking signing IMO and to me OC has done his job here if he has persuaded DG to sign for less than he could've got elsewhere.

Seemed best place to reply without taking summer transfer thread off. Answers on a postcard, which other Championship clubs replaced last seasons manager on the same day as us? Pre season hasn't even started yet, if we still hadn't acted it would be more than "strange". The choice in OC made little sense unless taking into account possibilities such as cost, likelihood of working to certain expectations and ultimately trying to avoid a PL scenario (manager slagging owners in press)! Someone with a crap reputation such as OC therefore makes sense when taking into the ridiculous decision making process at Ewood. What's the suggestion though? From seeing that process as strange? Many weird things have gone on, an example; our previous manager had made the decision to leave months before the end of the season! Can't remember such happening before, does that mean there is more than meets the eye? Such as an intention to rile already annoyed fans purposely and alienate the 1/3rd of the fan base left? Conspiracy theorists = normal? -
Performance is subjective!

Stating your opinion as gospel there GB? I think that we couldn't afford to get rid of them if we wanted to hence any manager coming in would have to work with them. If they walked, that's a different kettle of fish - no payout! However, unless someone comes in for them I can't see them leaving until at least this time next year when their 2.5 year deals end. -

Leave the phone at home! Or save the battery so you can find the lads in the arena

Life is more important than spending it raging at things I can't control? I'm angry Abbey but looking for conspiracy theories, reading old Steve Kean quotes and spewing my own spleen online does nothing for my health or sanity. It's not about burying your head in the sand either for me, it's just a case of don't let the bustards get you down! They ain't beating me. -

I'm sure working as a player or manager at Bolton, Wigan and Burnley means he's spoken to Bayes et al before. -
I'll give you a clue, he's in every kebab shop in the world!

Must admit- after watching the original brand split on network, I think this may develop some more interest in the b show, which I must admit I haven't watched for years. Watched Raw Monday because extreme rules was ok, really enjoyed the Japanese style Steen vs Stiles match. Some gnarly neck breakers and KO is easily the best heel in the company these days (for me). Rollins is a really good "chicken @#/?" heel but I genuinely think Owens/Steen could be another Austin level heel who gets baby face pops.

Had a meal at the hyndburn fonight, Whaley road- end of clayton! This was worth mentioning because two of the lads at the table are BRFCS posters, answers on a postcard which two! Decent fare - service was good and relatively cheap. I had a burger, definitely homemade and good but you'd have to ask the others about dessert!

First few series with them three (I was at uni around the time) couldn't get enough of it but the more deliberately staged it got, the more it bored me to tears. I'm not a big car fan tbh, but I had started to like the show. Can't see me watching Sunday though, Matt le Blanc and Chris Evans.... Just no. Anyone watched "rovers" yet, going to give it a try but heard bad things.

soon as accy went 2-0 wimbledon went 433 and that basically changed the game. Unlucky Stanley!
-
This is brilliant. The fire brigade have been called. I don't think Stanley's lights had extra time in mind
-
Rommy Boco to steal it in extra time. Akinfenwa is just incredibly difficult to play against, and I've never seen him sprint.
-
Worldie that strike. Now comes the hard part!
-
The left back Buxton looks good, can pass, cross and shoot with both feet. Looks quite clever, weird thing though looks about as fit as me which is not very.

Sky sports 1. Great singing from Stanley fans!
