  1. Yeah. Doing ok. Tends to come out with a long ball looking for for a tall forward but Dolan no threat.
  2. Dolan needs to work harder on shooting.
  3. What a joke Radio Lancs is saying 11 is the latest score when reading out today's results. Good point despite lack of shots. Hope Rothwell is ok
  4. Could be some truth in your thoughts. It was only an hour earlier that TM was quoted it would be sorted in next few days. Either way I'm not too bothered. We need a goal scorer but Obafemi is cut price being pushed on us as part of, albeit indirectly, the Armstrong deal.
  5. It's a disgrace and Mowbray should know it. Take my word, this will happen again often this season. Time will come when the fans at ewood have had enough. Hard season ahead.
  6. 4 year deal according to Sky.
  7. Not seen it previous but ST choose your own seat now shows % available in each section plus seat numbers.
  8. Outstanding by Rovers players and fans down at Ewood today. MOM for me was Kaminsky with a cool first half stop preventing Swansea on probably their first attach. Playing from the back like they did must have been talked about at half time and Donlan took advantage. Enjoyed being back seeing familiar faces and being part of the Blackburn End version of Sweet Caroline.
  9. More here than I thought. Big que for tickets outside. Swansea upper tier of darwen end. Good to be back.
  10. Parked at the Blackburn End Car Park season before last and it cost me £10 on entry.
  11. Don't know if this has been picked up anywhere else but Rovers have added a code of conduct applicable to today's game: Code of conduct Following the outbreak of Covid-19 the Club have made a number of changes to the way we operate. We look forward to welcoming our fans back to Ewood Park for season 2021/22 but in order to assist us, and to help protect you, your fellow supporters and our staff, we kindly request that you follow the guidelines set out below: You must not attend any match if you are self-isolating or have symptoms of Covid-19. You must provide contact details at the point of ticket sale and produce photographic ID prior to entry to the stadium if requested to do so. . Supporters should try to observe social distancing in all parts of the stadium including car parks where able to do so. Arrive early to allow sufficient time to go through all necessary entry procedures. Turnstiles will open 1½ hours before kick-off. Before attending the ground, make sure you know where your entry point is. We would ask you to continue to wear a mask on your approach to the entry point and at all times when in in public areas. Avoid blocking stairwells or entry and exit points. If you need to leave your seat, wait for a time when the gangway is clear If you are in a concourse area, remain aware of the movements of others. Maintain good hygiene – wash your hands frequently with soap and water or use the sanitiser dispensers provided and avoid touching your face whenever possible. Always cover your mouth when you cough or sneeze. At all times, children under 12 must be supervised by a responsible adult, both inside and outside the stadium. Extreme care should be taken when shouting, singing, celebrating or otherwise. Ensure that other members of your party have read and understood these guidelines. Be respectful to those around you and mindful of individual circumstances that may differ from your own. Only contactless payments will be accepted in the ground. Should the ball enter the stands you should not throw it to a player or onto the field of play. To allow for sanitisation protocol to be adhered to it should be returned to a member of the ball team who will be clearly located at the front of all four stands. You must not request players to participate in photographs/selfies or autographs either inside or outside of the stadium. Also, players will not be throwing shirts/gloves or other items into the crowd.
  12. There are a few reasons for low STs with one big driver being signings. We haven't got a lot to go on from last season, in fact with the loss of senior players, its flat. Coventry and Sunderland fans can see they're on their way back but with all the negatives around us can anyone see us in the top half?? There's a debate going on at the moment on the transfer thread about passionate support. An example given is Sunderland. But don't forget we do have that passion, just needs igniting. Recall games v Burnley home & away everyone standing or even small pockets v AFC Fylde & v Bolton recently. Here's wishing we can get this back.
  13. 6,907 - 1,268 Rovers fans.
  14. Just come inside but why the hell did the announce it so late?? 😡
  15. Are tickets available on the day tomorrow at Bolton? Will be interesting to see how are young side play against less quality teams.
  16. Good to see Darwen End full. Remember when Ewood was being redeveloped and both Leeds & Rovers fans in Darwen end divided by a narrow line of cops. Unfortunately Leeds fans told to leave first with many spitting in our faces. The ugly side of football.
  17. Yeah good pass! Can understand why Armstrong didn't want to but his foot through it. Pickering looks good.
  18. Me too. Great start to RoversTV!
  19. No we will struggle. Venkys are the problem but for some strange reason refuse to get involve in the practicals. They just deal with the financials. Mowbray should have been long gone by now. Other than a couple of freebies and an inexperience loanee on the bench along with Gally & Ben who will not be match fit, I can't see the team sheet for the opening game against Swansea being any different. Armstrong won't play due to developing a mysterious injury, the real reason being the lads in the office are still hopeful of selling him. This thread is quite busy for an opening friendly so expect a recording breaking number of pages for the first home game. "We want Mowbray OUT, we want Mowbray Out...."
  20. Looking at those figures posted by @J*B we may be paying too much in wages but the comparison is against a £3.2m fall in turnover. Venkys should be asking why both Leeds & Brentford get a return for less directors remuneration and what about the player write-off of over £6m in two years?? Is that just unlucky, bad accounting or poor management?
  21. Be very surprised if Rovers go anywhere near Sam McQueen from what I've read, the lads had some bad luck with injury. No football in over two years, then on loan to Middlesbrough in 2018-19 for 5 games. Armstrong's transfer will be crucial in sorting out any new blood in our club but my confidence in the current management structure is that low I'm struggling to see this being sorted out in time for an abled squad to hit the road running.
