Walton's last league (competitive) game was against Millwall last game of 18-19 where he did a clean sheet. But what pre season games as he been involved in? Needs to be match fit if he's starting v Charlton.

Reporting live outside Queens st match finished1-1 deserved draw in the end . Observations Lenihan and Mulgrew cannot play together, Bennett is not a right back and Bell is low on confidence. Midfield needs Travis alongside Johnson. Graham looks unfit to me. Positives were the subs esp Buckley he is good enough NOW so play him or lose him. Sad but true why do morons who don stone island gear turn into utter cretins? We do not need such dicks following us away
Great support 1864 - ignore dicks they appear everywhere - safe travel home

2-1, probably against the run of play.
Another of last season's faults shows up again. Can't keep going for 90 minutes and concede a late goal.
Finished 1 1.
Great following. Well done the 1,600 that traveled could hear you on Sky sports at the end.

Nothing came of the signings before the Rangers game although nothing was promised. But shouldn't raise expectations.
We need some positives from today.
Still hopeful.......I'll have a beer

Typical Mowbray. Can't bear to upset or leave out his old favourites
big opportunity to put them in the shop window though

Surely Walton will be a loan to buy? 6ft 5 young and room to develop and become more authoritive in the box.
Still fuming Raya is gone. But this could be okay
Got to admit I wasn't too concerned at the time but its getting too close to season start now and maybe those making decisions didn't see this one coming.
Who ever we get needs to be match fit, sharp, run of games etc. Do those mentioned satisfy this? Forster doesn't. If we are going after a second choice keeper none of them will.

I think he will be.
My hope is that we don’t start against Charlton with Leutwiler or Fisher in goal.
Just now, bluebruce said:I'm not sure why you seem to think this is actually a possibility mate. I know we can't always put full faith in what TM says, but the fact he has said we might even get two keepers and he expects to make announcements in the next couple of days...it's very hard to imagine we won't have a goalie in before Charlton. I'm 99.9% sure. Don't worry on that front - just worry about how good they'll be.
Frustrating why we can't get a keeper in sooner. I've heard about " ....make announcements in the next couple of days..." but then radio lancs say tonight it could next week. Just hope the officials doing the business are aware we start season two weeks on Saturday.

Definitely don't want to see Scott Dann banking his money here. He left me with bad memories - attitude issues.
Don't mind Hart or Ruddy.

Not much talk on here about Dack but I want him to stay. If a late offer came through we could start season with more new faces than old.
Two weeks on Saturday - coyb

.......... the only negative Is that I’ve heard he is a bit off an arrogant bellend
If this is true it no doubt is a big reason for Hart's drop from the top. Definitely more vocal and commanding though so I wouldn't be upset to see him signed.

Like it! Well done to all concerned.

Oh come on. He was hardly kicking off. Get the replacement in, then let him go.
So season's not started and phone rings with a possible £3m offer??
"If we get a replacement Ill get back to you...."

Well, don't you think it is at least possible that his "convenient" request was a direct consequence of TM's actions/statements?
Time will tell if this turns out to have been good management. Right now, I feel that Raya was not yet reliable enough be our number 1...
Definitely think it was but it happened and we are stuck with TM which is another debate.
As you say, time will tell.

I’m still pissed off about selling Raya, if anybody wondered..!
He asked for the move. No point keeping a player not happy working for the team.

Hearing that Raya wanted to go makes me feeling a little easier. He made some poor decisions and that must have affected the team's confidence. However, why did he want to go? Did he see it that we are a team going nowhere or was the pressure too much IF we are now going into first gear?

The problem is we are a club which has been ruined since the takeover and a lot of vultures have made money on the back of it.... No one can anticipate venkys next move.. Do they actually have any ambition to get us back up.. Highly doubtfull
From Venkys view they are interested in the £s. The new Blackpool owner was a supporter of the club decades ago but unfortunately our owners don't have that unique relationship. I'll credit (forgive me!) them with one thing though they are still putting money into our club despite not getting the financial return they'd expected.

The sooner they abandon VAR the better. Defenders can perfect they've been pushed in the penalty area whereas in the middle of the pitch they would not consider it.

Indeed it's scandalous a game this big is not on Terrestrial TV.
Then again, football sold its soul years ago.
Can't believe how much sky charge to watch sport yet no champions league final unless you have BT.
It'll have to be radio 5live.

Nasty gash above the eye for Grealish as he jumps with trophy.

Too much of a liability. Lad at 25 years who likes booze, London and breaking the law since his teens ain't going to commit his life to football.

Excellent presentation of a Rover legend. Glad, proud and fortunate to have witnessed the player as it happened.
Will we ever see anything like Tugay again??
Bury, anyone going?
