Said before Mowbray's not good enough. Truth has been out before today but he's too nice with the players that are close to him. We need a manager who discipline players.
Thanks for getting us up Tony but it's time to go.

Good to see Nuttall on the bench.

It would be very typical of the Championship if we went here and won 1-0.
Love us to get the double over Leeds. Its Boxing Day - strange results have been know.

Overall we played to the best of our ability and Graham was outstanding. Sadly my mind is made up about Brereton. Don't want to see him again. Norwich are good but on another day we could have won. Couple of outstanding saves from Raya was good to see, maybe he had last week on his mind. Ref was poor in first half for not playing advantage and one poor decision when their defender clearly dived.
Reception for Jordan Rhodes was outstanding.

Very frustrating yesterday.
Birmingham were completely disinterested until Raya handed them a lifeline. Then the second goal came from Bell losing the ball and some horrific defending and a lack of anticipation from Nyambe.
Said leaving the ground that daft decision by our keeper will stick in my mind for a long time. Mowbray said he can't be too hard on him, not sure what he means because you'd expect your boss coming down hard on you for crazy decision that was not needed.
As a manager he will apply his own style but Raya's card marked. That's football as we all know.

for what reasons?
The lads an investment and preventing him full 90 minutes game time could be damaging his development. Not been to many u23s this season but would love to see what he can offer from the start of game albeit at a lower level.

Why does Brereton not play in U23?

So up until the penalty did we play well ?
Anybody have a good game ?
Brereton came on in place of graham like most people have asked for , how did that work out ? Did he show any signs of promise ?
how did Armstrong play ?
How did Evans play after his new contract ?
?Reed was decent, man of match. Evans didn't get booked but Armstrong is not this level. His goal was due to a brilliant back heal from Dack. It wasn't Brereton's fault but we fell apart when he came on.

So effing predictable it’s untrue. How many do we need to be clear by before we can see out matches? 4 maybe?
Lenihan, Smallwood, Bell, Nyambe and Raya (obviously) all poor for me.
Fuming. And please for the love of God can no wally come on here saying ‘I’d have taken a point before the match kicked off.’
That usually happens later in the night. Don't think I've ever been this annoyed. They need a blasting from Mowbray. An ex pro once told me a 2 0 lead is dangerous and today was evidence of that. Fan let down again.

1-0 Graham
It was after Graham went off we fell apart.

What was Raya thinking? He needs dropping now not just because of this. Bell should not be in the team and I've big doubts about Armstrong. Ok he scored but he can't carry the ball.

Are we back on?

Why no activity?

Stanley, Woking or Burnley at home would add a bite to the third round but got a feeling it will be Pompey away.

They have no recognised left back. I would put Rothwell or Armstrong right inside forward and test whoever is playing there early doors.
I have a feeling this will be a repeat of the Ewood game last season. We will fly out of the traps, but shoddy defending will allow them back in
Armstrong worries me. On Saturday against Penders he gave up early doors whereas you'd expect a player at this level to have a few ideas to test the opposition.

Good move by the club and Tony.

Dare I ask anyone who went how he looked when he came on?
Looked a goodifish on the telly.
Does a lot of talking and pointing. For a young lad that shows to me he has ability and confidence.
He needs to start and has a point to prove.

So he's not made a mistake and would do same again. What can we expect at Wigan.

With no one to hold the ball up front there was little else we could do.

Preston deserved a 4 1 win. Dack & Armstrong simply did not want to put in the effort.
As for team selection, does Mowbray think the ball will stick to the ground when we pass it forward? Meanwhile a £7m striker watches from the bench.
Yes I'm annoyed and I'm questioning Mowbray's ability at this level. Not for the first time he's dropped a clanger in team selection but you would think he would learn by his mistakes. Today clearly showed he has not ?

Don't encourage the club - Sky blue is Man City, not Rovers.
Change it back please
Agree with you Jim even if it was the original colour.

Looks a bit work in progress. As already suggested needs a logo, flag or club crest to the right of BRFCS.com.

Certainly a derby in my book, infact Deepdale is best part of 2miles closer to Ewood than Turf Moor.
View both Ewood Park & Deep Dale on a clear day within a hop on Bog Height Road.

5,553 is massive following. When did we last have that kind of away support?
On parking not so sure Sainsburys is a good idea as many supermarket car parks have an number plate recognition on entry. Last time I parked on Moor Park without any trouble. Remember being told that away fans would be kept in for at least ten minutes but got out on the whistle anyway. Big mistake was time it took driving down the dual carriageway toward M6. Either way out of Preston will be busy so plan to do a bit of walking this time.
Best pubs anyone?
Why do we concede so many last minute goals?

As the chap on radio lancs said (by the way he supports another club close to home) its not just coincidence that Rovers concede late goals.
