Match Thread FOREST AWAY
Cherry Blue replied to barry_'s topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Great win - didn't see this one coming. Long way off what we need to be but you cannot beat the feeling of winning two on the bounce! -
I got that feeling too. Hate to think about next season, same players, low gates, more financial problems at the club. If he walked now - they aren't going to sack him - there would be something to look forward to.
-
We need him to go this weekend.
-
Depends on how much he knows about what cash is available this summer. For me he does't have the ability to challenge for a play off spot. We need a change now.
-
Wish it was only a few. Therefore far from unbelievable.
-
24 should be booked
-
Is that a "show" or a "should"?
-
Brereton's just scored for U21s. Mowbray's watching but from what we've seen he'll be too weak for our promotion pushing neighbours.

Player of the season 2019

1. Graham - couldn't have managed without him 2. Travis - fought to get into first team 3. Reed - but I'm puzzled why he's not been himself lately -

Ok if the money to strengthen ins't there, but it was. Many on this board are well satisfied with championship consolidation but the fact is our performances are crap and stats don't lie. As Sharp says that's 8 times we've scored 2 in a game and lost, and that's just one worry stat. Time for a change before next season. -

Is TM really the manager that can make us a better club?? -

I'm sure many share your thoughts RB and maybe it could cross a player's mind if/when deciding on a 50/50 challenge. Hope the commitment is there and we get as high up the table as possible. How strong the demands of TM are may be a telling story. Brereton has been tested at first team and it ain't working so leave him in u23's and make him hungry for the shirt. Nuttall should be on the bench ready for Graham if needed. You can't ignore the goals and ability of the 33 year old. I like Rothwell. TM says he needs to learn about positional play but there's no better way place to learn than in the starting 11. Agree with Chapman but I fear for his body strength after the injuries. -
An Evening with Tony Mowbray
Cherry Blue replied to JHRover's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Is this still on? -
One of TMs mistakes is he puts a team out that he thinks can do the job, Reading being an example, when we don't have the squad to rotate. During December I had Rotherham (away) as a sure win and it still can be depending on who he plays.
-
Even TM does otherwise he would have gone for three points against Reading. All of this must really screw the minds of some players.
-
Honestly can't understand why having seen he lacks confidence, gets pushed off the ball and is a liability to the team, they haven't loaned him out or at least played him at U23 level.
-
Again, January window was a missed opportunity to strengthen.
-
Very disappointing. The last two defeats are down to TMs bad team selection. He rests players at Reading in order to field a strong side against his home team Middlesbrough. By his own admission this was "an emotional game" which from a football aspect is understandable but for me not acceptable when he is Rovers' manager. Why is he the only man (well almost) that puts Brereton in the team? I hate to say it but we need a new manager.

Pathetic performance. No urgency is last minutes of game. Got to be questions about Mowbray's ability now.
