Brereton needs football every week. He ain't going to progress with the odd games with us so loan him out to a league one club with a "must play every week clause" and lets see what he can do. Would love SUFC to make a big money bid for Lenihan but I doubt we'd be able to use it.

Christmas period of games brings out the strengths of any club but the mistakes and inabilities of our manager are well below championship standard. And whoever disagrees with me is not looking at this seasons facts. I don't care what the financial issues are, just sack Tony Mowbray.

Hope is the only thing we have but the reality is we a are poorly managed club as a direct result of owners who live 6,500 miles away with no interest or knowledge in football. Sorry covering old ground, just trying to get it out of my system before today's abysmal performance.

Just as Ossydave says the in/out Mowbray is 50/50 with the fan base. But what do the Venky club advisors think, assuming they exist? I'm on the "out side" based on his weak managerial techniques including poor player enthusiasm, out of position players, failure to pick right team with available squad, wasted transfer budget and, if he's losing relationship with fans (based on the 50/50), he's probably losing the dressing room. I'd praise him for getting us back up but that's about it. If we can see this, Venky club advisors can see this too. The club has a big problem. He's struggling and because of his nature he will not step aside, even though he did once say he would. The man loves football but he's not at Championship managerial level. The problem may be he will not go and the club cannot afford to sack him.

Seriously need to look towards next season. Cant sack TM as we cant afford. Poor poor xmas and we cant blame loss of Dack. TM poor management.

Agree - stay positive and get behind the team. Any negativity will feed through to the team. Four games in 9 days needs to be managed, we need to be twelfth man. Lets drum up as much as we can! COYB

Good post Stuart. The ref was a joke and anyone who saw him agree. The Championship clubs should do something about lack of quality at this level. On a positive, don't think we'll go down but it will be close.
