Remember however, when we beat Arsenal a couple years back, they had the same dominance against us (even better, I remember something about 21 saves or so for Brad, or 21 shots), but no one was complaining about our performance then. Perhaps it was because the ref didn't give them a dodgy equalizer at the end?

I consider this bad news for the Souness out camp (myself not a part of it). Now there are 2 vacancies, and if Souness were to be let go, we'd be fighting with Soton and Newcastle for the few decent available prospects. One more thing: I notice it to be funny that everyone brings up that because the RFW complains to the refs so much he gets calls his way, yet when Souness complains to the refs so much that is why he never gets the calls his way.

OK, I can finally bring myself to talk about the match (I know, you've all been waiting, I'm sure). Happy with the result, but not with the way it occured. Had you told me before the match we would get a draw, I'd have been happy. Saw their lineup, and knew that at least one point would be there for the taking after seeing their midfield (CR excepted). As for the end, you kinda knew something would happen and we'd be screwed. At least the score wasn't even at the time. Even then, my wife thought I had fallen pretty badly as I kicked our ottoman halfway across the room. Pluses: Emerton and Brad back to form. Crowd was in good voice, did us proud. Minuses: Why the heck do they use that stupid "Let's Get it Started" before kickoff? If they are going for that theme, they should use Van Halen's "Right Now."

My defense ended up passable for today's match. Supporters are now delirious, or something good. 4-0 was the final.

Got another solid youth pull, tsi of 730, 18 year old with a solid defending. Tonight is a big match because it's against another mid-table club.

I'm not too impressed by Newcastle this season. Lots of issues there that seem to be effecting them negatively.

Sounds like we missed Ferguson as both our central midfielders sounded poor in the second half.

At this point the Match Console on RoversWorld is showing us with more possession, 53 to 47. Sounds like we've done pretty well towards the second half of the first half, and the scoreline is deserved. (Of course it's deserved, since no one has put one in the net!!)
