Won another one, now in third. Play the closest to me in abilities next week (the one I just jumped into third). Should be a good test, but my counter-attacking seems to be working fairly well. Next season should be interesting, as there is one guy who is tied for first, but will lose out on promotion due to differential, and the other 2 of us who are pretty good. Hopefully one of the 2 will switch divisions. Another decent youth pull this week, but a winger, which is my strongest position, so I put him up for sale.

Agree with the worries about Amo when you look at him his individual skills/shortcomings, but our defense plays much better with him in the lineup. He's had good buys and bad, just like most managers, but I think he's left us with a good squad. Just remember when he brings in someone on a free that you think will be useless, that Brad was brought in on a free and most people thought he would be useless.

Yeah, the NERVE of him to offload Yorke for money, knowing he'd then be leaving us in a lurch...

Managing is managing. Took a TERRIBLE team over mid-season and had them playing for the championship the same season.

Aussie, I'm saying that he scores a lot of goals when it doesn't matter. Essentially when the match is over either way. When it comes down to crunch time and you need points, he's not the striker you want.

First match with a new manager was wonderful for Soton... 2-1 to us, Bothroyd and Ferguson (both off of Emerton assists) Kluivert doing what he does best and scoring a garbage time goal (only 13 of his goals for Barca was for a win or a draw).

The answers are: who cares, and who cares, we've gotten rid of him. (Mea culpa, I wanted him to stay before the season began. That being said, I am happy he was replaced by a much younger player.)

Maybe Souness should strike back and show him next season how much better Forssell can be with a good manager!!
