  1. --> QUOTE(ste b @ Aug 23 2006, 17:36 ) 438073[/snapback] Apparently its pronounced Oooh Yah.. Sadly, I can see some "Who are ya" type chants I thought it was pronounced 'ooo-yeah'.
  2. Here we go again.. 1 Chelsea 2 Liverpool 3 Arsenal 4 Man Utd 5 Blackburn 6 Tottenham 7 Everton 8 Aston Villa 9 West Ham 10 Newcastle 11 Man City 12 Bolton 13 Wigan 14 Charlton 15 Middlesbrough 16 Portsmouth 17 Reading 18 Fulham 19 Watford 20 Sheffield United ..and best of luck to everyone.
  3. Thank you Fife for your time, I have a better detailed 'picture' thanks to you! .. I find it very intersting listening to the days of old - makes me envious.
  4. I can't believe 5 played up front! I would have thought more of a diamond formation from the 'Halfs' going forward. Can I ask a silly question Fife or to any others (and apologies for being ignorant)? Did Manager's alter the tactical formations of teams during games or was this formation (1-2-3-5), pretty much it?
  5. I knew you would change your mind about him! On Emerton's re-signing - I'm really not that bothered about it...
  6. Couldn't see this posted anywhere, so.. Lawro's predictions on the new season... - I still don't trust the 'knob' "Jason Roberts and Benni McCarthy are going to be an interesting combination up front." - Your right there Lawro! On a side note, it will be interesting to see his points tally for us this year, at the end of the season...
  7. Thought this topic was the most appropriate.. Southgate and Jewell top the list Cant really disagree with any of them. My tip is Southgate.
  8. Australia has announced its squad for the Kuwait ACQ on wednesday.. ...and surprise, surprise, there is no Lucas or Emu and they are all domestic players.. Squad: Clint Bolton (Sydney FC), Alex Brosque (Sydney FC), David Carney (Sydney FC), Steve Corica (Sydney FC), Alvin Ceccoli (Sydney FC), Travis Dodd (Adelaide United), Joel Griffiths (Newcastle Jets), Iain Fyfe (Sydney FC), Matthew McKay (Queensland Roar), Mark Milligan (Sydney FC), Kevin Muscat (Melbourne Victory), Stuart Musialik (Newcastle Jets), Jade North (Newcastle Jets), Sasho Petrovski (Sydney FC), Kristian Sarkies (Melbourne Victory), Archie Thompson (Melbourne Victory), Michael Valkanis (Adelaide United), Danny Vukovic (Central Coast Mariners). - SMH
  9. Well, from what I understand, that is wrong. Australia will be fielding all domestic players for the ACQ game against Kuwait next week and latest news is that, most Euro-based players will be available for the Bahrain game in Sydney on Oct 11th.
  10. It kind of helps when 6-7 senior players are released and then they sell another two players for around +£12m (£5.5m + £6.7m). I dont see them coming up either.
  11. Very much the same logic used for Sudoku puzzles.. well it can be attacked in the same manner. Defineatly not a '2% of the pop' puzzle.
  12. I see one pattern - especially with everyones 'picks' going year on year. The competion was more predictable in 05/06 - very strange, I guess no team did an 'Everton'..
  13. Thanks again for all the work you have done Philly Rover! I can't beleive the turn-around of Roversmum! Nice one 04/05 - 41st 05/06 - 2nd Interestingly Bob Fleming, has swaped positions with Roversmum! 04/05 - 2nd 05/06 - 41st
  14. I agree its a bit uneasy.. But can I ask a serious question? Out of all the outlandish statements you have made on this board, how many have been actually 'proved right'? seriously?
  15. Clickme Its not RW, so you dont need to register.
  16. 35min: Roberts to Perdersen, who scores in the top right corner..
  17. Like a bottomless pit! Philipl is right, RA's wealth is on a expediential curve up.. Disgusting really.
  18. I dont think so b/w, as RA (I'm pretty sure on this) has sold off most of his interests in the industries in Russia. I thought he did this a while ago.. Philipl or can anyone confirm?
