  1. I cant afford it. Mrs Stuwilky is clamping down on football expenses.
  2. Presuming 6, 7, 6 (Cat a+, b, c) Total ticket price in the BBE Lower would be £590. So Im saving £155 on my season ticket, as is the missus. That means a young adult is saving a massive £350 on the matchday equivalent. You only need to get to half the matches to be onto a saving!!
  3. I wouldnt pay £36 per match. So I dont.
  4. Im sorry. I have no idea what you mean "man".
  5. Without wanting to be pedantic. And without factoring in that Dominic Matteo earns nowhere near £35k per week. However, one is a contractual offer and accept situation, the other is fraud.
  6. The several hundred (if not more) fans singing "shove your f***ing drumsticks up your a**e" several times last season didnt give him a clue?
  7. Im with you Dom, for some reason I bought the away one, I dont quite recall why! But Im not buying the home shirt until later in the season. I prefer the last HSA one to be honest, back when the quality was far better. That shirt is in almost perfect condition!
  8. Thats the badger!
  9. I was in the old "exec" lounge in the Nuttall Street stand for Terry's testimonial! Cant for the life of me remember its name though. Got the programme upstairs. Signed by the great man himself.
  10. To change your address? Id have told em to shove it and closed the account. [then reopened it in one of its other guises with an opening offer at the new address]
  11. Perhaps this kind of information should be circulated more widely than a few hundred fans on an internet messageboard? Perhaps with the letter that came out would have been an idea? And out of interest why do the club insist on sending the membership packs and season ticket cards seperately? Seeing as all ST holders get a membership pack surely there is a few grand postage to be saved there?
  12. W arrived on friday, with the membership pack on Saturday.
  13. I was celebrating because there was no suicide.
  14. Using the same methodology as Bobby G (ie a random number picked from no where) I deduce that they have risen by 16. Therefore saving SG194 from suicide and a cause for celebration for the rest of us.
  15. Amusingly the sodding Kiwi at least can call us "Rovers", the English commentators could learn a thing or two!
  16. When I moved two years ago there was only two companies that refused to accept the change of address over the phone. Amusingly one of them was my employer. the other was an insurance company. Every other company I have dealings with, including Blackburn Rovers FC accepted the change of address verbally.
  17. I think it depends on the people. I was threatened with "putting your f ing head through that f ing wall you f ing inbred" wimply for suggesting that an offside decision against Everton wasnt offside. (and questionning the parentage of the linesman!)
  18. Ive had home and away from the last three years, still wear all of them and they get washed at 40 degrees, with fabric conditioner. Dried on the line. Lost one stripe, which was replaced last season. No problems, including the new home kit. Tesco colour washing powder and tesco conditioner, if anyone needs a recommendation!!
  19. If you ever say anything like that again, Ill hunt you down and kick your arse!! Love A HR professional!!
  20. I love it when people know what they are doing. Lee - how much of this gets passed on? I often feel Im the only person to ever complain to Rovers with the reaction I get from certain quarters.
  21. If you worked minimum wage from 9-5 without breaks (which would be illegal) it would be £40.40. Which makes an annual salary of £10,504. based on 40 hours work. Or £175 per week after standard deductions (ish). So a ST in the riverside would cost 3% of your net income.
  22. They sell crap products at lower prices.... ....so that would be your league cup match. Are the £10 UEFA Cup tickets on the horison yet? Wonder if we will match the Champions League attendances....?
  23. email them at tickets@rover-mail.co.uk Under current legislation email correspondence is as good as posted. Problem solved, but what about next time?
  24. We've all been lifted over a turnstile! Sadly for me I dont think many people could manage it these days
