  1. Whichever halfwit played it on the tannoy at Ewood last season brought all the memories back of that awful horrid day.
  2. You have to declare the size of the pitch at the start of the season, it cannot simply be changed at the whim of the staff for each match. The pitch may well be narrower this season than last, but thats one of the things about home advantage.
  3. Do you not find the reflection offputting?
  4. I presume you know the various skills and attributes of our players better than Mark Hughes? Of course, if you dont, shut up.
  5. Not if the people already have an account with the same bank it isnt. Its the ridiculous bureaucratic nature of certain organisations.
  6. The cynic in me reckons this will simply be a short term thing to be replaced in a few seasons with a big money sponsor.
  7. An expert medical opinion there....
  8. The registrations that have to be owned by the club they play for?
  9. Are they? Or is it sustainable to maintain losing money hand over fist for years and years?
  10. Stop depressing me please Tris.
  11. Sky 2 showed some UEFA matches last year (note not Sports 2). Id be very surprised if it wasnt obtainable.
  12. Keep three blokes who bang drums (I dont think "drum" is appropriate as it indicates some level of skill or rhythm) happy, or make an estimated 65% of people at Ewood Park happy? Surely a no brainer?
  13. Who wants the fans themselves throwing out? Simply the drums
  14. There is always ITV4/Eurosport etc etc Id be surprised if we didnt see it pop up somewhere....
  15. Where do you want all this money you want us to spend to come from? Who do you want us to sell out to? (given that we have unofficially been "on the market" for two years with no confirmed interest. Do some Rovers fans have realistic expectations of the club given the lack of support from the people of the area.
  16. Natwest were my bank for several years before I shifted to 1D, had nowt but problems with them, although their airmiles on the credit card isnt bad - coupled with the fact they always give me a good interest rate when i ring to "cancel my card"
  17. I refer you to the comment about the RoversTravelOption trip. what are they using to fly with? a magic carpet? For £479 I could take the wife for a week in Austria, including flights and accomodation. Nothing short of a rip off.
  18. I reckon that www.rovers.co.uk might be a good place to start
  19. I dont think the regulations are the same for UEFA as they are in the league Gav. Not 100% sure though and not got time to check it out.
  20. You know what Im like, I wouldnt be with them if the occasional slip up wasnt tolerated. they seem to have a policy that occasional mistakes are tolerated once every so often. Ive only ever paid one charge with them and that was when I missed a payment two months after missing one due to be in Australia - the Australia one was removed without me even asking, I rang up asked to clarify what Id done as I had been in Oz and they offered to remove it!!! It does seem to be one of those situations where you get the benefit of the doubt as long as you dont take the mick.
  21. Paul, without a shadow of a doubt First Direct. Been with them for 9 years now, absolutely no problems whatsoever. IF you do decide to go with them, give us a shout - they do a good recommend a friend scheme.
  22. Who says Scotland is behind eh?
  23. BRISA suggested a number of these options to the club some months ago. The club was concerned about a "bundle" of tickets beign an alternative to the full season ticket rather than to the matchday option. There are several interesting ways this could be approached, for example, the Manchester United match - always one of our big sellers - is followed by a Sunday match against Spurs live on Sky. Presumably Spurs are Cat A and United a+, so an individual ticket to both of those matches would be £68 in the Blackburn End, or £51 in the Riverside. Why dont the club sell a "joint ticket" to both matches - say £50 in the BBE and £40 in the Riverside?
  24. How would we address the shortfall in income? Much as it is a good idea, even if we sold 26000 of them we would still take significantly less than we do now in ticket income.
