  1. They reckoned there were 38 on the coach and 8 making their own way (including Andy who swopped scarves with me ) I didnt count, it had been a long afternoon! Incidentally, I agree with TND ( ) I thought Red Bull were a damn good team with their keeper being very much a weak point. I thought the Rovers did very well, its just a shame we cant seem to see that!
  2. I was in the middle of the main part of the Blues, opposite the toilets, with JPW, SteB, Glenn et al
  3. There were 46 Salzberg fans according to the cracking group of people I was speaking to pre match in Blues.
  4. You are the third person to mention this in as many days. Needless to say I have some kind of enquiry to ask the TO when I arrive tonight....
  5. I would like to apologise to you all for Mrs Wilky not attending tonight, despite being a ST holder of several years standing. I shall instruct her to hang her head in shame and say "Thank God for Jack Walker" 300 times as punishment, however, she is self employed and is working tonight. Nor is my five year old son coming tonight, he goes to bed at 7pm so I figured it was a bit late.
  6. This is interesting Jan, it appears that you may include me within that. And I am not a "yob". Male - yes Drunk at games - as that would be illegal I shall say no Standing - yes Lary - I shout and rant at football, yes. £2 an hour chant - no not ever Kicked out - no not ever Victimisation - never claimed that, have been for a sensible and productive discussion with the ground staff though after the Middlesbrough fiasco last season. So, I meet most of those criteria, but specifically the standing one (I specifically chose my seat as I am not in anyone's way), does that make me a "yob"?
  7. Whats the going rate for a paper round these days? Kids tickets average out at what £4.75 per match? few quid for a half fare on the bus from Chorley? I was paid £7 per week for my paper round in 1992 so must be more than that these days?
  8. You can take your own in Baz, but dont forget to remember to remove the top But you face the wrath of the stewards if you dare try and commit the terrible crime of carrying a CAN OF POP into the ground.
  9. IMPORTANT REMINDER ******************* There is NO ALCOHOL on sale inside the ground on Thursday due to European competition rules. I forgot last time!!!
  10. There was a big hoo ha about it for the away leg, with the link to the article on their website sayign they were showing us - then it corrected to they were showing the SECOND leg. EDIT -http://www.eurosport.com/football/uefa-cup/2006-2007/sport_sto962576.shtml Here is the link
  11. The difficulty with the domestic cups is the ticket prices having to be agreed with the away club.
  12. Well Ive managed to get a four people to come along who wouldnt normally.
  13. I suspect there are a lot of "losers" then, if anyone who disagrees with your ridiculous Lancashire United proposal. It will never happen.
  14. I went to Bamber Bridge v Bradford Park Avenue t'other night Paul. £6 in, Premium Lager at £2.35 a pint, cheaper stuff less than £2 a pint. Players who were passionate, a bit of a luagh with the Avenue fans I was next to, some mutual abuse at players of both teams. Hearing the shouts from the players, urging each other on. Thoroughly enjoyable evening out, and a fair few beers, for less than the cheapest matchday at Ewood.
  15. Why not everyone? Lets not bother charging anymore in fact, just give tickets away.
  16. I think that is more to do with the way respective away clubs choose to market their tickets rather that an estimated following.
  17. Ladies and gentlemen. I am afraid that I am unavailable for selection for the home leg. This is due mainly (or entirely) to being an overwight, lazy, beer enjoying waster.
  18. percy and glenn are knocking about on those photos as well.
  19. Maybe they will, maybe they wont. The number of times players do the opposite of a public statement is entertaining. Sadly its a negotiating tool, nothing more.
