  1. Could you let me know just how much the trust are giving us each year please Philip? And am I right in thinking that by converting £14m of loans into shares we have effectively wiped out £14m of our debt? If so, how much is the club's debt now? I don't understand how you've reached this conclusion (I'm sure it's just me being thick). Please could you explain further? Last year the trust made an outright donation to the club of £3million pounds. If the trust converts the £14m of debt into shares then you are correct, it effectively wipes £14m debt. And as for the two more years losses wiping out the capital, my understanding goes a bit hazy at this point, but its to do with the club having £120m of called up shareholder funds, and currently having spent £96m ish of it. But Im not 100% sure of that.
  2. Well I voted for Gav, if anyone cares.
  3. Weve heard all this before. Fergies quote is new - but so what. Hes gone back. We all share our opinions of the scottish league.
  4. Do you not find his inability to pass to another player in Blue and White frustrating?
  5. Coach 15 for mrs stuwilky and myself.
  6. Im lost. 26,000 where? Surely not at Ewood yesterday - it was 20,900 and something....
  7. Hes not even played 20 games for us. He is no such thing.
  8. And as it is a cup game, we get half of it So as well a the prize money for winning, we get the dingles hard earned annual wages!!
  9. erm, no they are not. They will be on general sale when the ticket office opens in the morning as it goes. Our capacity is 22619, which (by my simple dingle maths) makes it 18619 tickets for us. 350-500 Blackburn fans in the home stands? I hope they keep very very quiet. Could have sworn the cricket field stand was 4.5k? Reduced to what, 4.2k earlier in the season, so its closer to 18,000. But anyway, Im sure youll have 25,000 there, like normal.
  10. Er ... are you sure about that? Could've sworn when the CJB came out there was a big hoo-ha that selling your ticket on at cost made you liable to prosecution. Cant see any reference in the CJB to that.
  11. So, Lets have a great complex scheme - bearing in mind we have a fortnight to do this in. So Day 1 - ST holders who have had a ST for more than 20 years with 2 away stubs for this season Day 2 - 15 years with two away stubs Day 3 - 10- years with two away stubs you see where Im goign with this.... Incredibly confusing. I somehow feel that youd feel different had you actually gone to away games this season and managed to get a ticket on monday.
  12. Lets all slag the ticket office staff off. If it takes as long on the phone as it did on Monday in person they are doing well to get through one a minute.
  13. Wait for the woman to finish the first time. Then hit option 1, then hit option 9 - straight into the que - or not, as it is busy.
  14. I'm trying to do that now, but after listening to whatsherface from the ticket office droning on and on about when they're on sale, all I get is a message telling me the service isn't available and to ring back later. Same here and its just impossible to get in this queue. Dont think its looking likely il get a ticket!! Panic thee not Hughesy, keep trying.
  15. The stubs themselves are apparently worthless. This new system records away games, and its those that are checked on. The bloke in front of me at the window could only buy 3 tickets and not the four he wanted a he only had paper stubs for one of them. At least I think that is what I over heard!
  16. Given that you need to have a purchase history to buy them at the moment its the old rumour mill in overdrive. EDIT - beat me to it!
  17. I dont mean low as in not many - but low as in that I expected there to be more.
  18. Im surprised its that low to be honest - I counted approximately 150 people in front of me in the que (and most were buying more than 1 ticket) not to mention the countless others on the phone and behind me in the que.
  19. It will probably be written on the back, That has happened before. Not on ones that were bought in person.
  20. Got mine, qued from 8.30 - got served at about 10.15 Row Q
  21. On a scale of 1-10. 245.
  22. The history is longer than that - unless the old records were erased when they switched to the fancy dan Skidata system in the summer.
  23. cant see what? I cant see how you are disputing my post in any way
  24. YOu mean the purchase history of the open sale bit I presume..... Depends on demand, if it has been very high through season tickets I'd expect them to want to have a recent purchase or two, if its not been Im sure they'd be more flexible.
  25. May be it will be or may be not.....I've always taken the view if you REALLY want to go make sure you're first in the queue. I've never failed to get a ticket for any game I wanted to see so I'd be in the queue if i wasn't going to be in Banbury. Not having a go at you Dan... but a lot of people moan about not getting tickets when they won't put themselves out to get one. My philosphy exactly. you could also get to Banbury a bit earlier and ring! Sure the que wont be that big!
