  1. Who sets them then? Its decided by agreement between the two clubs, but in reality who do you think sets them?
  2. Savage has been offered a lot more money? HOW? HOW? HOW? How on earth have we discussed personal terms with a player who we havnt been given permission to speak to. This is a scurrilous rumour the started on a birmingham message board and is now being portrayed as 'fact'. Im getting mightily hacked off with this, the conduct of Birmingham's mouthpieces has been nothing short of disgraceful, what kind of organisation conducts business in the SUN newspaper (I hesitate to call it that)?
  3. Already done! Its hidden in the competition rules, basically the two clubs agree on the price. For a third round tie the gate receipts are divided 45% to each club and 10% to the pool. For a third round reply the figures are 42.5% per club, 10% to the FA and 5% to the pool. http://www.thefa.com/TheFACup/TheFACup/New...02/08/20766.htm Its in there if anyone is as sad as I am.
  4. In which case they are welcome to 45% of the £0.00 I will be spending (or rather not spending) on a ticket for a game I would otherwise have attended. Even at the ST price I'm not paying £20 to line the pockets of some greedy, mediocre "Championship" outfit. My point was that it isnt solely their fault. I cant see why they would want to force the prices up. Surely theyd want more money rather than less - and more would be 17000 lots of £10 rather than 5000 lots of £24
  5. Cant really give Cardiff too much of the blame for this one, they get 45% of something of any profit from the game, would have thought they'd have wanted as much as possible as well. And they arent naive enough to think that we'll all pay out to come. Not sure if Ill make it, probably will, but reluctant to fork out £38 for me and the missus. Has to come out of next years season ticket fund.
  6. Walked in at 1am thank to the lovely bus replacement trip round the house (thanks british rail) Good day out yesterday with Scotty, Manc Blue, RachRover, cn174, bellamy11, darwenpete, Jordan and a few others. Train down and the "blind" was a good laugh, although cracking the cans open at 9 Rachel??!! Few beers pre match, and again met a few - Glenn, Flopsy, believe waggy was there as well, in fact I think I got battered by junior! I was a little disappointed with the atmosphere inside, whilst I accept we are hardly a 'glamour' game the noise or lack of from the home fans reminded me of Ewood. The game itself was a dour affair with neither side looking good, the Cardiff players were trying to get Matteo send off with their theatrics. It was one of those games both teams should have lost. Pederson - Im amused that people who listened on the radio are observing that he shut up his critics? How? Yes he scored, but what else did he do? In the first half he was distinctly average, and in the second half he went missing, I even thought he had been subbed. We need to sort out our striking issue, Stead isnt doing it. Dickov for all his hard work needs someone to play off - Gally improved the side when he came on but Im not sure he is the answer. And finally a big "up" to Graham (Le Saux) and the Wem massive.
  7. Could you pop round and help me with a heated towel rail and rad? Saturday morning before the Bolton game would be OK Do mine instead, I'll buy you a pint! Its been leant against the wall since September. Im just waiting for it to get a bit warmer before I fit it.

Alternative route is via Birmingham (same price) 8.23 Manc 10.04 Birm NS 10.30 arrive Cardiff 12.19 17.50 - 19.45 Birm NS 20.03 Manc 21.44
