  1. Just a reminder for those who may have had a change of heart. The Season Ticket holder discount is available until the close of business today. (Tuesday)
  2. We won the Full Members Cup...... What is it with stroppy Birmingham managers? I remember Trevor Francis trying to take his players off the pitch at Deepdale a few years ago cos he didnt like the end they chose for penalties......
  3. I always thought that Chelsea's training facilities were poor - They have planning permission to build facilities. Theyve just been completed I think. Out near Heathrow.
  4. Rovers have THE best training complex in the country, second only to Chelsea. Thanks all the same.
  5. thats based on the 12k a week increase. Not on fact.
  6. Where did that come from? An unofficial source at brockhall.
  7. An outstanding player can look good in any team. Andy Johnson with the bunch of half wits at Palace for example.
  8. So you have to write - surely the club know the issues already and can respond accordingly? But instead you have to waste time and effort writing to them? Winds me up - theytve cocked up not you.
  9. Bought my tickets today, for the Blackburn End (£19 Abbey). Decided that despite my misgivings I would be there in voice amongst the 6000 other fools (fans) who pay there hard earned cash. Ticket sales are "very slow"

    Stupid Chant

Ooooo are you a Burnley fan?
  11. Didnt check - but I did check if you could move your seat and get the ST discount. You can, afeing told initially you couldn't. So looks like I might be in the JW Lower.
  12. I hadnt interpreted it that way, but given your experience in this kind of thing I'll concede that point. Never one to be awkward.
  13. Try as I might I couldnt find that in the FA Cup rules. It merely refer to decided by agreement.
  14. Revenue is split in the League Cup, in almost identical fashion.
  15. http://www.fulhamfc.com/news/displaynews.asp?id=5835 Oh look! £15 Adults £5 kids In london
  16. Cos they arent allowed to do that anymore. But I agree entirely with the rest of the post. This year has brough back some of the sparkle. Just a shame to see some of these guys go out after all their hard work so far.
  17. Forgot to mention barry island though in my above report.
  18. So answer my questions about how Savage knows certain things which he wouldn't if he hadn't been tapped up. I understand that you want to defend your club, but if you honestly believe that Savage hasn't been tapped up then you are a fool. As for not complaining about Duff being tapped up by Liverpool, prehaps you should have. IF muppet sullivan had proof he would complain to the FA most certainly. Even if the punishment isnt a big one urely he would feel better getting one over on us. He accuses us of unsettling the player, yet him and brady have been running to the sun every day, where has there been all these statements by rovers? We released the "weve made a bid" followed by "its been rejected" and then the same for the second bid. Mr Sullivan is just acting like a spoilt 5 year old, once his toys have been collected perhaps he can get on with running a football club.
  19. Philip, how was the Charlton attendance any more abysmal than any other game this season? Everton att 25191, inc 8000 Scousers = 17200 Rovers Charlton att 19819 inc 400 Charlton fans = 19400 Rovers
  20. But don't you think he did enough to justify more involvement in the first team in the future. And when I say involvement, I don't mean definite starts but perhaps sub appearances. yeah disappearing into oblivion for more than half the game was very impressive. Not sure id like to see it again though. He got muscled off the ball lots as well. Very intelligent. A young player comes in to start a game for the first time 3 months, scores a goal in an OK performance and you don't want to see him in a Rovers shirt again. In which case, you must dread the sight of that Brett Emerton. The guy was very disappointing for most of last season. And that Steven Reid, getting sent off on his debut and looked like a non-league player whenever his injuries allowed him to play last year - both should have been sold immediately because if they don't play like Zinedine Zidane immediately they must be rubbish. Nowt like paraphrasing. My point Rover6, is that I actually watched him, and I watched him with some interest knowing that you will have been on here posting your usual drivel about how superb he is, and how he must be played and is the answer to all our problems. Despite having NEVER WATCHED HIM. I have wanted to see Pederson as well, there was obviously something about this kid for us to buy him. Having wacthed him play (you might want to try that before you continue your ridiculous tirades) I think he is an average player - I believe that he offered no other options to Steven Reid, with the exeption that MGP actually takes a decent corner. He was very easy to get off the ball, very lightweight and the Cardiff defence made short work of most of his runs. There is no doubt the boy has technical ability, but I am still firmly of the opinion that he is not physically robust enough. I can see him coming on after 70 minutes and using his skill to attack tired defences and perhaps winning freekicks.
