Nice 1 mate you've got it spot on. Ive heard a few people say that bazza is quite stupid and this brings it home imo. Having played for the club for 18 months, been a footballer/fan for about 20 yrs and also still having been at the club for a few days after the draw was made (im sure he would have caught the enthusiam for it) for him to STILL not know that Burnley Blackburn is the big derby in Lancashire is pathetic. Bolton game might be a cup final for them, but if we lose we will forget about it in a week or 2. We lose to the dingles and we will hear about it for yrs!! Wake up bazza and get yourself to the turf on sunday and witness a derby which is actually being played for a decent prize, rather than the scottish league cup or whatever.

I think we are all being slightly over confident here. It will be a very close and difficult game, in what will be a intense atmosphere. I not bothered so long as we dont lose, thats the important thing to me. If we draw, its back to Ewood and the chances of the dingles coming to ewood and doing us over is very slight indeed so we'd be huge favourites. However a defeat is totally unacceptable as they would be able to hold over our heads until the next time we play them I predict a 0-0 or a 1-1 and for us to comfotably go through in the replay. Emerton has been our only attacking/dangerous source of most of this season, so i feel its a bit harsh on the guy when he has either been travelling or playing for Australia during the week and only got home on fri morn i think. Not really BRFC4E -did say give him dues for being 'tired' though 'only attacking/dangerous source of most of this season - must have missed that game put it this way - certainly wouldn't want him as my 'driver' if I was a bank robber. He has been our main threat though hasnt he? I mean who else has actually looked like unlocking defences this yr apart from him and now Pederson?

Tad harsh considering the journey they had to do during the week to play for their respective countires. I think we will win this game by the odd goal. Remember, for all our attacking short comings, Norwich havent won a game away from home this whole season. Whats more, their defensive record on the road is absolutly appalling so if we play 4-4-2 im hopeful we can score a couple. 2-1 to the Rovers but i dont wanna say who the goals are from I expect a pretty good crowd actually, norwich will bring quite a few, its catergory b prices, its a 3pm sat kick off and the dingle game might have encouraged a few more to buy tickets. 25k ish?

ha ha sam, for once 1 agree with you. There is nothing better than the build up to a burnley rovers game. Pne, wigan or notlob games in comparison dont even register on the 'bothered about the result' scale

Wasn't really a critism of anyone in particuler, just a retorical question i suppose And boy do i know about cost abbey, couldnt afford a season ticket at the begining of the season (due to me being a student) as i go to games as i can. I've paid for that as aint got a dingle ticket. Anway i reckon we coulda sold 8k for this 1

How many do we reckon we could have sold if there was unlimited tickets and it went on open sale to those on the database and well as those ST holders who didnt get a ticket. Makes you wonder where they are every other week

It won't matter in the grand scheme of things because regardless of a sell out of not you can be assured that in years to come burnley fans will believe we failed to sell out and the they had 10,000 stood outside. Talking of clowns, i was on the clarrotsmad site where i posted how our ticket sales were going, 1,000 by 2pmy'sday ect. Agree with the above post 100%. Anyway, as a Rover who has only seen, shearer, sutton, gally, jansen and Newell in action due to my age, ive had to use some of the superb write ups by some of our older fans to persuade me which 1 to vote. Whilst Garns was obviously a legend, and our top ever goal scorer, most of these, as has already been said were in the lower leagues. Thus im voting for Briggs. Btw, at the mo, garns is 1st, briggs 2nd and Jansen 3rd!
