  1. Or the Americans seeding clouds to stop the hurricanes!
  2. just in case you missed it Bobby Moore, Geoff Hurst, Martin Peters, Trevor Brooking and Billy Bonds for whammers for ROVERS read Clayton, England, Douglas, MacLeod, Duff, Eckersley, Newton, Garner, Crompton, Shearer, Vernon, Tugay, Wagstaffe to name but a few
  3. I upgraded! to IE7 last month which has tabbed browsing and it still works fine, I use XP and have 8meg broadband. Missed the second half commentary last night though, we had a power cut, heavy snow brought down a power line.
  4. Good article, I strongly agree Bobby Moore, Geoff Hurst, Martin Peters, Trevor Brooking and Billy Bonds for whammers for ROVERS read Clayton, England, Douglas, MacLeod, Duff, Eckersley, Newton, Garner, Crompton, Shearer, Vernon, Tugay, Wagstaffe to name but a few
  5. I just did! maybe a new topic is needed I guarantee that the Rovers list would be more comprehensive than the whammers Any body else agree?
  6. On Sky sports today "At no stage did the issue of money enter into the footballing decision I was making," he said. "Yes, I want to be secure, like everyone, but more importantly I want to know that I am going to be content, happy and playing football every week. "Some of the figures that have been mentioned are just ridiculous and the whole thing was blown way out of proportion. Anyone who thinks I joined West Ham simply for money is way off the mark. "People have questioned why I signed for West Ham and not Liverpool but I don't understand that. "Yes, Liverpool is a great club with a fantastic history but, equally, West Ham have produced people like Bobby Moore, Geoff Hurst, Martin Peters, Trevor Brooking and Billy Bonds over the years. If West Ham was good enough for those guys, then it's good enough for me. "If people want to insult my decision to play for West Ham, then they are insulting some of the greatest players the game has produced, including the three men who led England to the World Cup in 1966." Thats a load of crap lucash, you are insulting some of the greatest players in the game that have been produced and played for the Rovers, you left for money, plain and simple, LIVE WITH IT!!!
  7. Yes but we may also end up with a full treatment room when we play whammers
  8. No you wouldn't, you can pick your friends and wife etc, but you only support one football club
  9. Its going to be very interesting to see Dunn's reaction to MH's methods, I think there is every chance we have got a bargain
  10. Well said OscarRaven football is no ordinary business Lucash is a mercenary so so
  11. Thats all well and good, but football is not just a business to the average supporter! and sometimes players/agents get away with to much and it annoys your average supporter because of the sums of money involved, which they have helped to pay through the turnstiles and noses! It also doesn't help when a player of average talent says he wants a new challenge when he obviously wants a bigger pay packet. Benitez is right to say if you want to play for Liverpool it is an honour, and you can't say that the pay is bad. It smacks of greedy agents leading the players up the garden path again
  12. where has he said this jim mk2? can't find it
  13. just listened to the interview on rovers official site, near the end of the interview Dunny nearly says he wants to achieve at "manc" then stops himself, fruediant slip perhaps?
  14. He is just like a kid with a new toy ie freedom of speech the novelty will wear off eventually and he may join the civilised world
  15. you might be correct there! "Now Rovers boss Mark Hughes believes he can restore Dunn to his former glory by offering him a fresh start at Blackburn, where the medical back-up and coaching staff are rated amongst the best in the Premiership." also "Rovers chairman John Williams has been granted permission to speak to the player after Birmingham finally accepted his latest offer last night. A medical and discussions regarding personal terms were expected to take place this morning, and if all goes to plan then Dunn could seal his Rovers return by the end of the day in a deal that could eventually be worth £2 million. Advertisement continued... Speaking exclusively to the Lancashire Telegraph, Williams said: "We've got permission to speak to David Dunn and we are now going through the normal procedures regarding a medical and personal terms." Although there's still some work to do before a deal is safely in the bag, Rovers now seem certain to pip Bolton Wanderers in the race for Dunn's signature. The medical side of things should be a formality as the 27-year-old has already passed one stringent examination with Wanderers during the last few days. The only thing that could scupper a deal, therefore, is a late hitch over personal terms, but Dunn is desperate to seal a return to Blackburn so that is unlikely to present a problem."
  16. Lucas Neill's much-mooted move to Liverpool may be off because of his wage demands. The Daily Mirror claims that the Australian is asking for £30,000 a week because the Reds will get him on the cheap just months before his Rovers contract ends. That figure is deemed too much for a squad player at Anfield and Neill will now have to decide between Champions Leeague football with Liverpool or higher wages elsewhere. Newcastle and West Ham are thought to be interested in the Blackburn captain. Put him in the reserves or less until the end of the season, thats a new challenge
  17. You do not need a media suit in the riverside, only a platform for the camera men, all the pictures are relayed back to the control centre anyway, that can't be to expensive. Its about time the Rovers management looked at this to promote a better image of the club.
  18. UNDER PRESSURE ! AGAIN today on the BBC sport pages Birmingham boss Steve Bruce has admitted his position at St Andrews could be in jeopardy. The club, relegated from the Premiership last season, are ninth in the Championship table with two points from their last five matches. "Will my position be under threat? You've got to ask other people," said Bruce, whose side were booed off the pitch after Tuesday's loss to Norwich. "Whatever happens, I've had five wonderful years (at the club)." looks like he will need another big club soon, Any body else think that the Dingle Dome would be perfect, a deluded manager of a deluded club, match made in heaven i would think
  19. If its thick you want, watch the Rooney interview after last night MU game, limited vocabulary or what
