Worst thing about today was any injuries cropping up. Really really need some firepower in this month.

That's a huge loss. Further proof that we need to strengthen reasonably well this month to have any shot of promotion. This is just one example - no doubt we'll suffer injuries and Covid all over the pitch between now and the end of the season, and their replacements need to be good enough.

Not far off, but I definitely wouldn't change the system. We need the stand-ins to know how to play our new way too.

I just feel a bit ‘meh’ about this one and had hoped we’d be looking to pull off a couple of big surprises to really signal our intent. Granted, we still might. Strong and quick but footballing ability wise he sounds like a poor man’s Sam Gallagher(!).

From Sharpe: Tony Mowbray also confirmed that Irish full back James Brown, previously with Drogheda, will be signing a deal with #Rovers after a three-day trial. Will be one for the U23s initially. Expect a senior right back to be on the January wishlist. Sharpe thinks ‘we’re looking to be active in a couple of positions’.

Yep - today showed we probably can’t just get by with the current squad. We need 1-2 players to come in with some real quality who can make an instant impact. Not easy to find, I know, but this may be our only shot of promotion for some time - we need to roll the dice.

Yep - I can’t recall the game (was it PNE?) but we were below par in the poor weather then too. Need a plan B for the next couple of months when we can’t play our usual game. No shame in that - been a great run and at least we didn’t lose.

Long term injury (knee ligaments). They love him there; he’ll be straight back in when he’s eventually fit.

He’s got a bit of Pedri about him. Great passing range, always busy and just seems to glide with the ball at times. I haven’t seen many - if any - English players like him at that age. Superb talent - there’s no doubt big clubs will be watching him.

He didn’t. Gallagher came on 60ish on his own and Dolan was brought on with Edun with five minutes to spare.

Only intrigued, but why? We’ve given them enough £ over the years. I don’t care who comes up with us!
