  1. QPR winning again - they’re becoming a right pain in the arse.
  2. Forest’s good form has continued with a 2-1 win over Derby County.
  3. From what I understand he’ll only be back for a month or so of the season, which is why I think it’s a bit of a joke. Sending him back to us for his rehab can’t make him feel too great either about his long term prospects at Leeds.
  4. Read that too. Last time we should do business with Leeds, it’s a joke that they won’t just take him back for his recovery. Hampers us wage wise too.
  5. He needs to play the role of Brereton Diaz himself first as he’s played a bit like an actor for the past four matches. Hopefully he gives you more joy this week.
  6. We can certainly add Thomas Bramall to the list along with Gavin Ward who should never officiate a professional game again.
  7. If he brings his boots, then fine, otherwise it does feel a little OTT. Great to see how much he loved his time here though.
  8. Trav is back and fit according to his Instagram.
  9. Amen. CM and CF the priority - not another of Lawrence’s type.
  10. Yep. Gally made Tom f*cking Eaves look like prime Drogba.
  11. I genuinely couldn’t think of a worse fixture for us to follow up our loss with. The dreaded Sky cameras (again), an in form and tight-at-the-back Boro, and a streetwise manager who will be too smart for Tony: Rovers 0 Boro 2
  12. I am being kind, but at least we showed in brief patches against Barnsley what we can do.
  13. He wasn't alone either. And we had the chance to get into the top two. It's baffling. And concerning. As I said last night, would anyone really be that surprised if we turned up like last night in the play-offs?* I wouldn't be. *We'd be lucky to even be in them if we keep up the work from last night!
  14. Four games in a row where we've been far from our best would suggest you are correct. Mowbray needs to earn his corn now and produce a plan B. Particularly for when we fall behind as we just look clueless once it happens (thankfully not often at all, of late!).
  15. I think Mowbray thought he could get away without Brereton for a game so there hasn’t been real urgency behind bringing in a true CF. That one game has now become two and we suddenly look toothless up top even with Brereton in the side! As you’re all saying, we need somebody in ASAP - and not another one of these wide forward types.
  16. I believe I read somewhere last night that JRC’s pass completion rate was an appalling 50%. To be honest I am surprised it was that high! Needs to spend a few weeks in the under 23s as he was like a rabbit caught in headlights last night. My concern is that TM loves him - he always used to pick him over Nyambe - so I really wouldn’t be surprised to see him back in on Monday somewhere in the eleven.
  17. The more we all moan, the more I wouldn’t be surprised to see a similar lineup/setup at home to Boro. He’s a real stubborn bloke.
  18. I still can’t get my head around Mowbray not going like for like with Travis last night - even after a good nights sleep! True Tony Mowbray pre 21-22 season that. Real shades of when Pep opted to leave out Fernandinho against Chelsea in the CL final. And we all know how that ended up too.
  19. I believe I heard the commentators right that we’ve fallen behind 8 times this season and only won one. The first goal under Mowbray has always seemed absolutely crucial and this great run has been no different. We need a decent plan B for when we’re up against it.
  20. That’s the concern for me. Given the debacle a couple of weeks back, our pre match pep talk should have taken care of itself. The lads should have come steaming out the traps to take out their frustrations on them. IF we somehow make the play offs then nights like tonight offer me very little hope that we’d have the bottle for the really big occasions. As I keep saying, please prove me wrong, Rovers.
  21. Thank you for doing my job for me! We played with a two man midfield who didn’t have a tackle between them, Chaddy!
  22. I mustn’t be too critical of Tony as I usually am and he’s earnt the right this season to get a few things wrong. But I think every single one of us just knew he was chomping at the bit to shoehorn Gallagher in when there was no justification for doing so, and we were all correct.
  23. Indeed. I said it the other day but we need Bradley Johnson…just three years younger! Somebody to crunch some tackles in, smack a few heads together and who wouldn’t have put up with tonight’s ‘performance’.
  24. I’ve just remembered that we had a bloody full days rest on that lot too, which makes tonight’s performance even more galling. I’m just praying Trav or Davenport are in on Monday as tonight was a suicidal line-up from Mowbray. Shades of the old Rovers which slightly reared its head at Wigan (and I’d naively hoped were behind us!).
