  1. Highlight of the night was matey cleaning his camera.
  2. All over us since their goal too. Laughable.
  3. Yep - completely outdone by yet another manager. As I say, so sick and tired of it. We look so so poor going forward - like we could play til Christmas and still not score. just leave Tony you ‘honourable man’.
  4. He needs to make a change as they’re growing into this big time. Whatever our plan going forward is, it’s mind boggling.
  5. What an absolutely dreadful game. Awful. Creating zilch yet again - sick and tired of it.
  6. Awful game of football. I thought Tony plays the beautiful game? This is hoofball - nothing less.
  7. No doubt he’ll have a ‘knock’ or some other BS. As I say, getting the City lad and Bennett in is just so Mowbray.
  8. Nyambe out Bennett in. FFS. Mowbray’s wet dream.
  9. I mentioned this in another thread but you can bet your bottom dollar that Mowbray won’t be mentioning our rest time in comparison to theirs over recent weeks win, lose or draw. If we’d had their recent fixture list then we’d never hear the end of it in the build up to, and after the match.
  10. He simply has to go - the bloke is delusional in the extreme. Does he realise what he says from one day to the next? Because I distinctly recall him talking about "4 more windows" circa 3 years ago.
  11. He comes out with the ‘unrecognisable’ guff at least once during every death spiral.
  12. He’ll sit down if he wants thank you very much: https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/19094602.mowbray-explains-lack-touchline-presence-preston/
  13. I can't see him starting Lenihan and Harwood-Bellis at the back in a 4 with Branthwaite around as he's always banging on about playing a "right footer and left footer together at centre half". To me that spells trouble for Nyambe and I can see the Citeh kid starting in his place at RB. As for the game, I posted this in another thread but despite the knives being out, Mowbray death spirals don't stop at two matches. Oh no. So expect defeat here.
  14. That’s Mani isn’t it? Bucko‘s number one fan.
  15. If Mowbray were to be potted then Nixon et al wouldn’t have a clue. Venky’s previous firings have always come out of the blue and it’ll be no different when TM eventually does get his marching orders.
  16. But ‘completely contrasting views to the way football should be played’ (or words to that effect). Doesn’t sound healthy to me. Of course no number 2 should be a walk over and he should be challenging Mowbray.
  17. Danny Graham gave that podcast interview recently where he said that Mowbray and Venus have completely contrasting views on the way football should be played and they’re like chalk and cheese. It’s stuff like that which goes a tiny way to explaining just some of the muddled thinking we consistently see on the pitch. Surely your back room staff are all singing from the same hymn sheet.
  18. I think Barnsley are going to roll us over quite comfortably on Wednesday. They should have beaten us at Ewood and after today they’ll be flying. The Mowbray death spiral is never done after two games either. Funnily enough too, I bet you won’t hear Mowbray confess how much rest we’ve had in comparison to them either.
  19. Seeing how good the Dingles are at set pieces is quite infuriating. Let’s not bother focussing on them though eh Tony.
  20. If Balaji is playing football manager again then surely even he isn’t stupid enough to play Gallagher on the wing every week. Nor right back. That’s 100% a Mowbray move - he played him on the wing in our relegation season too. Felt really sorry for Sam for the first time last night. He’s obviously a big confidence player and his is currently shot to absolute pieces. I hope he gave the bloke whose fault it is both barrels in the changing room.
  21. With the Chuckle Brothers at centre half you can’t blame him. Still can’t get over how bad the Everton lad was. The ultimate example of ‘gaining experience’ at our expense.
  22. Good piece from Sharpe: http://bit.ly/3tSWOcx If it weren’t for Covid he would have been hounded out of Brockhall again for that.
  23. If that was the case then he should have gone last season though.
  24. I refuse to believe it’s possible hearing this: IMO backs up that posters claim on here that he’s lost the ear of Pune.
