I don’t think the LET have ever once been right with their ‘club are hopeful of making additions before X’ statements. Our lack of incomings will rumble on for a while longer yet.

We basically need to hope that no other Championship club come in for players that we want, because we get trumped every single time. Does feel like there needs to be more flexibility in this wage structure of ours.

Season starts in four weeks though.

Yep. I’ve said before, but to date he’s a half season wonder. A poor season and end of contract or not, he won’t have the high profile interest he has now.

He'll surely leave. His stock will never be this high again IMO and he'll have every man and his dog in his ear telling him to cash in now. You could easily imagine a couple of PL teams / clubs on the continent paying him £50k+.

Great to finally get this over the line (work permit pending). Just a shame that the club have kept on Lowe and Benson. Hopefully Broughton and JDT will see enough of them over the coming weeks and their cards will be marked. Now let’s get some players in!

The agent/HSH fear is growing in me as I said yesterday, so I can get behind rumours like this.

So it's taken five(?) weeks to identify our main man, and it's looking like it'll be extremely difficult to prise him away. Not to mention any potential delays over a work permit. We start pre-season training next week. Only at Rovers.
