Need to weather the next ten or so - I still don’t feel confident at 4-1 under this bloke. -

What on earth is happening?! I should be absolutely elated, and whilst I am happy, I can’t help but think where the f*ck has this type of performance been?! -

He’ll be telling our fans to ‘get real’ if we’re behind and Mowbray gets some stick. -

If, as I suspect, we do get embarrassed tonight, then I hope he gets a very uncomfortable time at home to Bournemouth. At that point, I think he may just need a gentle push over the edge. -

Next it'll be "You will need to ask Balaji". They'll all be laughing their tits off whilst scoffing their lemon drizzle at that one. -
He have anything to say on his future?

Championship 21/22

Sheff Utd winning means at least it’s all over (albeit not mathematically) and we can move on. -
Beat me to it @CrouchingNunhiddenCucumber. I reckon the only way ge goes is: A) He’s has enough. He certainly looks like he neeeds a long break - apart from that two month run this season he’s looked a beaten man for a year and a half now. Similar to the above, but if Venky’s just won’t pick up the phone to he or Waggott, and Suhail isn’t able to sort a meeting, then he won’t have any choice but to just clear his desk at the end of June (well, he says..). I too just don’t think the Venky’s have the cojones (nor the ability to act on the new manager front) to proactively give him his marching orders / notice that they won’t be renewing his contract.

The Contract Situation
G Somerset Rover replied to J*B's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Can’t see it - I reckon he’ll end up on the continent. Probably Spain. -
7th May: season ends 7th May - 30th June: Mowbray in limbo as to whether he’ll be invited to Pune or not. He’ll hang on for dear life in the hope that his Mrs’ lemon drizzle is good enough to land him a new deal. Early July: some half-arsed press release with a statement saying Mowbray has gone or has signed a new deal. Early July - start of the season in early August: massive scramble for half a squad, potentially a new Manager and a whole new coaching team.

I’ve read that Mowbray’s contract is up at the end of June. What betting that unless he throws in the towel that we won’t hear anything before then?

Excellent from Linz that. As you say, summed up so succinctly. I hope the social media sheep listen to it.

As with the Stoke match, I'll really stick my neck out and suggest we won't win. I reckon we'll get embarrassed here (circa 3-1) and spanked at home to Bournemouth too. Hopefully it'll be enough to give the dinosaur the final push. -

I don’t reckon they’ll be quite as quiet (by Ewood standards anyway), if as I expect, we are embarrassed once again by PNE and then Bournemouth give us a good hiding like they did to Coventry yesterday. -
I'd be surprised if Rothwell wanted to play under Mowbray again. Utterly amazed if Nyambe did.

Is there anything that Tony does want to talk about these days? Other than excuses for why we've won just 2 games in fifteen, that is?

As 1-2 others have said, I’d love it if today is the day that the fans turn on him. It’s long, long overdue. He genuinely wouldn’t be able to cope. Thinnest skinned bloke in the industry. -

Doesn’t even have a pass in him even if he wanted to. Another Mowbray masterclass today. F*cking hell, get this idiot out of my club. -

I don’t really blame the lad to be honest. 10 assists at Cardiff - largely at LWB - then Tony starts playing him RW. Imagine he can’t wait to get back to Wolves. -

It would be horribly poetic were this to happen. -

I said that before on here a few months ago and 1-2 disagreed. I don’t understand how. Head and shoulders above anything in this division.
