  1. I’m no Mowbray defender but realistically he wasn’t going to do either was he? And Chapman wouldn’t have done zilch. Simply too many injuries.
  2. Aye. Go behind and I’d suggest we’re buggered!
  3. Whoever predicted Chapman could have an impact tonight are spot on. For our under 23s. He starts for them tonight.
  4. Obvious one, but the first goal is so so crucial. Even more so for Rovers than any other club it would seem.
  5. Well it'll surely be Gallagher and Khadra 'up top' tonight as there isn't anyone else outside of Butterworth who I can't see him trusting from the start. When I say 'up top' I'd imagine Gallagher will be on the right of the two. I know we all like a moan about him, but as bare minimum the bloke needs to put in a bloody shift tonight after Wednesday.
  6. Time to be proved wrong but I had naively hoped they may actually go for it a bit this window. A few kids and loans would be massively disappointing when we may not get this chance for another decade.
  7. Some on here tell us that they never refuse to sign a cheque though?
  8. Great opportunity for Tony to prove himself against what concensus would probably agree is the best manager in the division. Huge night tomorrow.
  9. He was in the twilight of his career. Gil isn’t.
  10. He’s had 4 Spain caps and been linked to Valencia. Not a chance he‘s coming to The Championship.
  11. Dolan, Brereton, Markanday, Pickering, Dack, could be a couple Covid cases. As a couple others have said, let’s play the EFL at their own game.
  12. And as you said yesterday, experience (Gray, Austin etc). I don’t think we have enough of that in our side - particularly for the run in.
  13. When it rains…Sharpe reckons Dolan is out for 3-4 weeks yet. We need to get a bloody move on in the market.
  14. Neo seems a good bloke but I don’t think he’s got one transfer shout right yet(!).
  15. Well Pasha is an absolute b*ll end if he’s happy to get rid of Rothwell this window. Would be suicidal.
  16. Indeed. I personally think we need to bring in an experienced striker this window rather than youth once again.
  17. I know they did a bit of a number on us earlier this season, but for anyone watching them that closely. Are QPR that good?! Clearly just sneaking games by the odd goal at the minute - hopefully their bubble will burst soon.
  18. Yep. Win and we go 8 clear of Hudds having played the same amount of games. Losing doesn’t really seem an option at the minute given at least 2-3 of the chasing pack are winning every week. QPR will now go above us and Bournemouth if they win their game in hand.
  19. I hope it’s not filtering through to the players but it does feel a little like things are conspiring against us at the minute. Terrible referees, injuries, fixtures being moved, late winners for some of the chasing pack. If ever there was a time to bounce back and get confidence moving again it’s on Monday.
  20. They get a last minute winner EVERY fecking week.
  21. Fulham back in front too. Some daylight appearing now as I predicted. Imagine Parker will start coming in for some stick soon if Bournemouth’s form doesn’t really pick up.
  22. Sam Gallagher is soon going to be up top on his own against Boro at this rate!
  23. Jesus Christ what are the chances of that given the lad seemed fine?! Cheque book needs to be used urgently on a CF.
  24. Probably. Just an observation. It just shows that it certainly won’t be as simple as 2 from 3 (although I suspect not many of us Rovers fans were thinking like that!). They’re here to stay with Boro, Hudds etc not far behind.
