It was really strange. Scoring seemed to drain our confidence rather than boost it. Things just got worse and worse as the game went on. I can understand why Mowbray felt frustrated by it. Having to bring on Evans and Smallwood shows that he lost faith in our attacking players getting a grip on the game, which must be concerning.

I don't think he'll ever reach the potential he had, but from his cameos so far he seems to have enough about him to be a decent player for us. Just a case of keeping him focused and motivated. Early signs are promising.
-
Possibly, but then Reed has a very similar attitude and is clearly a superior player. The only reason to play Smallwood ahead of him is that Smallwood is ours whereas Reed is on loan - but for me it's all about putting the best players in the team regardless of whether they're permanent or not.

This isn't too dissimilar to last season. Generally frustrating performances but we're picking up points. Can't really argue with the overall results irrespective of the methods used.
-
Got his usual yellow card for a stupid tackle as well. As usual had no positive impact on the game. I hope he stays with Bolton for a very long time.

I think that's about right. Things don't always come off for Reed, but he's been involved in some good stuff. Evans is fine if he's got enough decent players around him. Rothwell is excellent but definitely an attacking option. Rodwell looks like he could be useful when properly fit, and Smallwood should be backup only at this juncture. He shouldn't be starting unless there are no other options.

Their start to the season genuinely blew my mind. Totally inexplicable, except that in this league any team can beat another team on their day. You only have to look at Ipswich beating Swansea at the Liberty today to see that.

We lost our way pretty much as soon as we scored, but thankfully Bolton didn't have the quality to break us down in the end. Could have done without the penalty scare! Nonetheless three points on the road is always welcome and much needed after Wednesday's performance. See you in a few months J-Lowe

Tbf we were poor before the subs came on and we have been poor afterwards. No change. We're treating Bolton like they're Man City, sitting incredibly deep.
-
It really feels like we're playing for the 1-0 now. Hugely risky considering our poor defensive record.
-
We've had an appalling start to this half. Can't keep hold of the ball.
-
Smallwood and Evans coming on. The least inspiring double substitution of all time.
-
Being penned back into our own half at the moment. Slowness on the counter attack still a problem. Feels like we give our opponents so much time to regroup.
-
Lovely seeing him in the opposing team instead of ours.
-
Decent enough performance so far. Need another goal though as I think we'll concede at some point.
-
We're so vulnerable whenever a high ball is put into the box. Not sure how you fix that with the players available.
-
Rothwell is a brilliant little player. Needs to be starting regularly.
-
Thus far a much better performance than Wednesday.
-
Scrappy goal but I'll take it!

Swansea 2-3 Ipswich. Lol. Don't think many people would have predicted that as their first win. Sounds like it was a smash and grab in fairness, but still, if you're conceding three at home to Ipswich you have problems.

Alternatively in January Leeds bought Tyler Roberts for £2.5m (rising to £4m) and he's managed 3 goals and 1 assist in 5 appearances so far this season. Also 19 years old. So the market is there to get decent young prospects at a reasonable price.

Just finished Persona 5, hell of a game but total game time clocked in at 85 hours... been a long time since I've spent that much time on an RPG. The game's aesthetics and music are fantastic, the story is fairly good and the battle system is quite easy to pick up (didn't think modern games still did turn-based battles!). It did have some flaws though. Lots of dungeon crawling puzzles which can get extremely tedious. I used a walkthrough as otherwise I would have been stuck in some parts for days. Lots of dialogue and text unnecessarily repeated. Some storylines didn't develop as well as they should have. Also there's a couple of "gay panic" scenes which really don't belong in a modern game. The translation is quite questionable at times too - I have an extremely basic grasp of Japanese but even I could tell some stuff wasn't being translated accurately. I guess most people play the game with English voices so wouldn't necessarily notice that. Due to the overall game length and the slog of some dungeons I'm not sure I'd play it again any time soon, which maybe says something as I can play RPGs like Final Fantasy 7 and 8 any time. It's still a solid 8/10 but can't wholeheartedly recommend it unless you're really into that kind of game.

I saw one of their fans post, completely seriously, that they should be considering Arsene Wenger.

Totally intentional.

We were bound to concede eventually as we were just giving them far too much space in the attacking third. There was such a sharp contrast between the two teams. Every time we got forward they were back in shape, surrounding our players and making life difficult. For whatever reason our whole team looked really tired on Tuesday and couldn't match the energy level Sheff Utd had.
