Has there ever been a worse goalkeeping error than in that game yesterday? I know there have been some pretty bad ones, but I can't think of any when everything is taken in context - i.e. - the fact that had he left the ball it would have floated out for a goal kick, there was no pressure from any attackers at the far post, the fact it was the last kick of the game and it costed a place in the semi-final including all the financial benefits (especially to a relatively poor club like Millwall). ?

Perhaps it's going to be 'reassessed in summer'?

I would think that's because most of the teams in it are perceived to be crap and games uncompetitive. Hence why a player that wasn't deemed good enough for a drab 2nd division Rovers team managed to get a gig in the lower half of La Liga. ROCHINNNNNAAAAAAA!

They manage to hold out. Penalties . . .it gets worse, Rovers are one penalty ahead. Raya (rather Shiltonesque goes the right way for most of the penalties). Raya chocolate hands a mis-hit penalty he should have saved. Nuttall misses. Bennet does a Waddle. ROVER AND OUT!

The tournament was certainly a bit of a reality check for pre tournament favourites Ireland and to a slightly lesser degree England. Ireland were a disgrace against Wales. Talk about thinking about the beach. England should also be very worried. 2 shocking second half performances v Wales and Scotland). Don't they have the stamina for it? Mentally and physically. The 38-38 was a great game though (there's no such thing as a dead rubber when England play Scotland). I think it was a record points draw. As for the England women. Well they blitzed the tournament culminating with an 80-0 win over Scotland. That's the way to do it!
