  1. Mulgrew would be better playing at left back with Bell playing in front of him as a left mid/winger.
  2. I think I prefer post match knee jerk reactions. In the cold light of a new day, yesterday's capitulation (along with the January transfer saga) seems an even bigger disgrace.
  3. In my player ratings for today's game (which incidentally I didn't bother posting) I had Conway down as: 0 - Did he even touch the ball?
  4. Do you think it's at all possible that when we signed Brenn we actually thought we were getting Britt? Stranger things have happened.
  5. Something to brighten up the day. The Champions crushed in their own backyard. Have it! https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-union/47103166
  6. Exactly this. Leeds are still 2nd and they aren't exactly world beaters - as we showed twice over (almost). Although TM does make baffling subs at times, our bench does look very worrying full-stop. I was certainly concerned about any injuries today.
  7. I don't want to put a fly in the ointment but just remember guys; Intelligence and common sense are 2 very different things.
  8. There are SO many similarities between Rovers and England cricket. Square pegs, round holes (strikers on the wing, midfielders at centre half, makeshift right backs, no stand out striker, no world class spinner, batsmen playing at no.9, makeshift openers and no.3, loaded with bits and pieces all-rounders etc. etc. Often questionable tactics. Poor captaincy. No obvious leader. Softcore as soon as they are up against it. Brilliant in flashes yet always one moment away from complete capitulation. Management and coaching set-up loved by a soft touch and friendly media - never questioned by anyone but the most ardent of fans even when things go terribly wrong. If I've missed something, please let me know.
  9. I was meaning your own situation. Surely you should have been coming on and tearing everyone a new one if everyone was that bad? ?
  10. Even when the game's been level? ?
  11. Well at least he didn't get out to an embarrassing shot in the 2nd innings. So at least he's learning ?
  12. I thought it was more than that. Whatever, he's definitely in a points deficit regarding 'worldies to win points' vs 'clangers to cost points'.
  13. Brereton 'had his best game': He controlled the ball a few times (though even one of those ended with him comically taking it out for a goal kick), won a corner and didn't fall over like Lukaku on ice blades. Though the fact some are even saying that shows how far we've come with the straw clutching. Perhaps after a few more stuffings the talk of any play-off hopes will be a distant memory and the guy can then get some game time and goals playing in the no pressure season's end dead rubbers.
  14. That's an interesting theory. And most probably the truth that we would not like to believe. Strong and Stable!
  15. When we beat Millwall with 2 late goals they took over our mantle - briefly.
  16. I think we're now back at the top of the 'Goals conceeded after 75mins league'.
  17. I agree. Though the Brereton fee was ridiculous. £7 million is £34,000 a week for 4 years.
  18. You heard it here first. "That was a Mowraya of a game!"
  19. Time to switch to the cricket before the justified messageboard meltdown.
  20. The old infamous Bowyer nosebleed. Though I can't remember being massacred in such ways.
  21. It looks like we need Smallwood back in the side. ?
  22. This game has got Mowbray's stamp all over it.
  23. I did say we should have signed Joe Hart.
  24. Brereton is having his best game so far.
  25. Oh No! Brereton coming on. Total Surrender?
