  1. I don't know what game some have been watching but it's hardly like we've carved them apart and been unlucky to concede. A draw would be about the right result.
  2. If you send a team out for a 0-0, you can't really complain too much if you get done 1-0.
  3. You'd have thought he'd have been sent for gait analysis long before now.
  4. Who was getting up to support Arma there? Get our £7 mil super striker on FFS!
  5. I was going to to say (and I still will). Someone joked in a recent game thread that Raya's passing percentage was 0%. But it seriously must be less than 10%.
  6. Junction 11, M4, Reading RG2 0FL
  7. Isn't it about time Tony gave Leutwiler a chance in one of these dead rubbers? He's not THAT bad is he?
  8. Meh! Time has come early this season. Should be an easy victory now that our season is over and there's zero pressure. We might even get a penalty and give it to Big Ben to scuff under the keeper.
  9. If he can't score against Reading tonight, then I think he should go on loan and bag at least 3 for Fleetwood.
  10. Looks like it was the latter. From 232-4 the infamous collapse and 277 all out. You gotta love England. It will be interesting to see what Woods gets out of the pitch (if the others leave him any wickets to get).
  11. A big guy can make good gains at 19 and already be well on the way to appearing on the front cover of FLEXXXXXXX! ?
  12. Terrestrial ITV is the place to be right now. Oh lah lah!
  13. But there's much better players than Brereton playing in the lower divisions. It's not inconceivable that we could have signed literally any one of them for comparatively next to nothing and they would have been biting their hands off to play for Rovers in The Championship, without counter offers from '80 other clubs'.
  14. Norwich aren't Man Utd and they seem to have got a relative bargain. Even when you watch the 3rd and even 4th division highlights, you often see players that stand out (*incidentally I'd like to see our Ben on loan at a 3rd division club). I don't think it's beyond the realms of possibility that we could actually sign a 'near Vardy' from the lower leagues, or supposedly lower standard football from abroad. It seems the Dack signing was just pure fluke.
  15. As a side note. The guy that put the game to bed with 2 goals cost £7million less than Brereton. ?
  16. Exactly that. That kind of offer can only really work if a club shows some footballing ambition - of which we haven't seen any from Rovers. The only other way it works (to a lesser degree) is if you're in a relegation scrap. I'd be amazed if many (or any) took up the offer. Hardcore fans either already have an ST or are the 'only go to away games' crowd. Floating fans won't be interested in a dead rubber commitment. Especially when you add the fact that the weather will be getting slightly better, 2 more hours of daylight and the fact that Shock! Horror! Many people do have other things to occupy them other than football.
  17. You just described football in a nutshell, right from it's invention back in 1992
  18. For the first time in this series you get the feeling England are starting to get on top in a game. Currently 177-4, a decent score having been put in. Our world cup hopes Stokes and Butler are in and crunching some tired bowling around. 300+ or a collapse?
  19. It's worse than that Bowyer season. Back then we had Swansea, Stoke and Liverpool and all this with players in our squad like King that were blatantly not good enough for mid table flumpers. Oh the memories.
  20. He was also dropped on 3 - playing that same shot. ?
  21. That was the telling point. Clubs with ambition strengthen even from positions of strength. So to not even strengthen from a position of weakness showed us all a shocking lack of ambition. I don't suppose there will be too many looking forward to the 'mouthwatering games' against Bolton et al.
  22. Can we finally call our season over now guys. In my opinion there are no 'mouthwatering games' to come. No chance of going up or down. Stability 2. Zzzzzzzzzz!
