He picked up an injury during a game that needs surgery, that can happen to anyone. I think it's a bit dramatic to be overly critical of the recruitment team here.
It appears this injury is related to the the twice-operated broken fibula. He had played for Sheff Utd for only a few minutes after his second op. It's a wasteful pointless signing that reflects very badly on Broughton and the medical team.

Pears is improving without a doubt and is streets ahead of the Swedish lad who is one of the main reasons we are in relegation trouble. He still only 25 - young for a goalkeeper, and his game is beginning to mature.
I'd like to see him more dominant in the 6-yard box from crosses and corners - several times last night he should have come out to catch or punch the ball away but stayed on his line.
I agree with this summary particularly the second paragraph. He stays rooted to his line from corners and that just invites problems.

I stand to be corrected but my understanding is that instalments are paid annually over the length of a players contract. If that is true we are well and truly at the whim of some Indian judge.
I very much doubt that the payments are related to the length of the contract given by the purchasing club. Are the clubs that sold players to Chelsea going to wait 8 years for their money? The length of contract and the payment schedule are two completely different things.

If that's what Euston is going to serve up we might as well be relegated this season and save the pain of being next seasons Rotherham.

Given Dacks posted a fair few photos of TM on Instagram, I can’t imagine it’s just something minor.
Get well soon, Tony.
I had thought that in recent media appearances he looked grey and drawn.

Millwall are the biggest team in trouble.had 2 home games this week and lost 4-0 2-0
Upcoming match against them at Ewood will be critical.

I hope flecks injury isn’t too bad.
It was described as an ankle injury. Given that he's fractured his fibula twice in the same place it might well be a recurrence. Signing a crock never works.

The court date is scheduled bit could easily be postponed. A lot of them have been already.
If they say they don't need to send over money they may risk the court refusing their requests in future. The ED are very strongly against allowing them to send the money over and have said that the investigation is only in the very early stages.
It took the Indian authorities 10 years to discover and take action against the Cheshire mansion scam so how long is looking through the last 14 years of remittances likely to take? The club will be playing in the National League North before they reach a conclusion. The Indian legal/tax system makes the UK look a model of speed and efficiency.

Court case against the owners won’t have been finalised by then, limited budget.
The Wharton money will be swallowed up to cover running costs and then the Indian court will say "spending money on new players is not an existing contractual liability so no more funds can be sent over until the transfer income runs out". A starvation diet that only lead to relegation but the Indian courts won't either understand or give a f**k about that. Its worse than being in UK administration.

Does Waggott still work from home in the Midlands most of the week?

Hedges was out for 5 months so 3 games in a week seems crazy.
Chisene can fkk off after last night
Scott at the back
Chrisene involved in two goals conceded with an ineffectual challenge inside the area . First against Enniss then again against Brum in the lead up to their goal not to mention the horrendous miscontrol he got away with earlier. It comes to something when Pickering's return can't come soon enough.

Was lucky not to get two yellows. Always looks like a sending off waiting to happen. Alot of wayward passing too.

Playing like that we're in for some absolute pastings in the remaining fixtures. Still to come.... Leicester,Leeds,Soton, What are the odds on conceding 100+ goals?

He is constantly crap. If he could run his legs as fast as his mouth he'd be a sprinter.
Brittain is the new Bradley Orr.

We don't have either the strikers or midfield players to benefit from the hoofball we saw tonight.

League 1 beckons. Just can't see where the points required are coming from. So many sub-standard players - Brittain, Chrisene, Garrett, Telalovic, Moran all useless. Can't carry so many passengers when even Brum are bringing on Dembele and Bacuna as substitutes.

Every team at the bottom is winning (except Stoke).

McGuire would have been an extra body but nothing suggests he would have made any difference. Even the MLS standard is pretty poor - about L1 here - and less than 12 months earlier he was playing the equivalent of amateur level. Fairytales don't come true.

Hopefully we can get Jordan James from Birmingham in the summer. Perfect replacement for Wharton then again we're more likely to get Jordan the supermodel
That would require spending money (alot to acquire James) and that definitely isn't happening now. It'll be a case of selling anything with a value even more so if it's L1 next season.

IMO, we have the 'three tossers' with Lowe, Benson and Johnson and they need feckin firing.
So do I.
I think Broughton is weak, inefficient and way out off his depth. IMO, just another with his snout stuck in the gravy trough
His signings have been pretty awful and I suspect McGuire would have been a flop too.

Disappointed that Lowe and Benson will still be around. I presume that Eustace was told that he had to accept them as part of his coaching staff if he wanted the job. If Lowe is in the dugout tomorrow I hope he gets himself a decent haircut in the morning, as the cameras are likely to be on him and Johnson.
I've seen tidier tramps a shop doorway than Lowe.
