  1. If you rest one player it isn't your strongest team. If mulgrew is fit and we rest him that isn't our strongest team. It's such a vague rule that cannot be policed. Every manager should do what's best for his team. The onus is on rovers to beat Brentford not Huddersfield to beat Birmingham
  2. I personally don't see the problem with huddesfield resting players . It's been a long season and have two crucial play off games coming up. If it was rovers I wouldn't give two shites about Huddersfield and would want any chance of injury , fatigue , red cards kept to the absolute minimum. Even give the players a mental break so their ready to go again. Whatever gives you the edge to win. It's a good chance for Wagner to look at his squad and the players to prove or show they deserve a place in the team for the play offs so motivation won't be an issue. Roles reversed this is a game I would want to see Tomlinson, Connor etc get game time and see if their good enough. These are the games they get their chance. Huddersfield deserve to be where they are as do we and I for one hope the win the play offs and get to the prem. Good honest club who deserve their time in the sun.
  3. I agree with all of that johnnyp until you started mentioning the dizzy heights of mid table. I'm afraid if by some miracle we do stay up then when the whistle goes at Brentford it's still cut your cloth then the whistle goes in August and it's as you where I'm afraid
  4. Good solid performance today. Rayas distribution was excellent and should be pushing for a first team place. Hardcastle and Tomlinson were excellent in midfield as was Thomson on the right. Ward looked composed and solid whilst Stokes was clearly a class above and should also be in contention come Friday. All in all an excellent display from the young lads
  5. Going down to ewood tonight to watch next seasons first 11. I had a thought without trying to sound like a hippie lol. I don't know anyone bar one person from this board and with all the doom and gloom thought tonight's game could be used as night for people on this board to meet up in person and make it a more friendly place. At a bar before hand or in a stand in the ground to get to now your fellow posters. Be good to put faces to names
  6. You watching the kids at ewood later

  7. Dunnfc I think your being very harsh on somebody who clearly suffered in a extremely racist era. However the Sol Campbell's of this world do nothing to help the situation. He did play the race card and I completely understand what your saying about him but to put rosenier in the same bracket is way off I'm afraid
  8. Question for parson. How is Tyler magloire developing. Saw him play very well pre season at morcombe and looked like a real prospect then a week later really struggled against a poor Stockport side. Curios has to how he is coming along.
  9. Can you stick this in a separate childish bullshit thread. This is a TM thread
  10. I love giving youth a chance as much as the next guy but can I just remind people all the players people are pushing for the first team in the championship are the same lads that struggled in the checkatrade trophy against L1 & L2 opposition. If they all get brought through believe me it's nothing to celebrate
  11. Not to shocked. Owen says he's a good guy. No reason to doubt such an honest bloke
  12. Someone should tell jim white he seems to be still struggling to get through
  13. Had that tie a while. Think he just needs some new ties being honest. Go fund me page anyone
  14. You have to feel for them . So sad what's happening. Leyton Orient being placed into liquidation if the owner, who has previous history of not turning up at court doesn't show. Fans attending the court hearing hoping to get administration and get the legal eagle who helped AFC Wimbledon start their club back up to get local backers to buy it back and start rebuilding. I hear these stories and it's like watching a rollercoaster derail and your on the back carriage hoping for the best.
  15. From the games I've seen and I bow to Parsons superior knowledge as I don't watch as many games I can't disagree with anything he says regarding the players mentioned however I can virtually guarantee mansell will never make a league player. Conference at best
  16. Anyone is better than coyle. I'm not overwhelmed by the appointment but having coyles bs out the door can only be a good thing. If you would of asked last week I think nearly everyone would of swapped mowbray for coyle. However their was still better alternative managers available. I'm extremely worried by the fact he has come in as a head coach which is basically working with the players on a day to day basis and getting ready for match day, which leaves dodgy bullshiiter Paul senior to play puppet master and recruit who he likes with the backing of venkys as well as take care of contractual obligations. I don't think the storm has even peaked yet. Testing times ahead.
  17. If I'm right I'm sure I watched that game were he played for England. Came off the bench and scored with his first touch. I saw him play a few times later on for the u23s and agree with parsons . Never going to make it. To much to young or simply not good enough ?
  18. Going down. Said it at the start of the season and we have been far worse than I imagined throughout
  19. Graham. Good Gallagher. Exceptional. Easy good enough for lower end prem team. Hoban. Decent. Williams. Realiable, relatively consistent. Emnes. Showed promise, decent squad player Greer. Past it Mulgrew. Most composed and intelligent player by a mile but constantly injured. Feeney. Average league 1 player at best. Stokes. Absolute joke signing. Three year contract and massive wages for someone who is fit and doesn't play. Can't judge his actual play as he's never had a run in the team. Surly down to his attitude and mentality for reasons stated above. Byrne, Samuelson. Never got a sniff Hendrie. Looked way out of his depth
  20. I believe Alex marrow had a swift return to non league
  21. I agree on mansell on and the overall lack of quality up top coming through. Had high hopes for rittenberg a year or two back but seems to have regressed . Tanner was another player being tipped for big things. Admittedly only seen him play twice and didn't stand out. Not seen anything of the kids since they moved from the sports village. Miss it alot. Loved going there so these posts are of high interest to me, so thanks lads
