  3. The Bee Gees - How Deep Is Your Love?
  4. Despite its bleak subject matter there was also a fair bit of comedic brilliance in there Tony. The confessional scene with Yozzer springs to mind. I know what Tyrone means though - it was a bit close to home in the Thatcher years.
  5. He was for a decade TS but They divorced many years ago as I recall. Boys From the Blackstuff was an amazing piece of work, well written and fabulous acting. I had forgotten that Julie Walters was in that.
  6. RIP Michael Angelis, terrific actor and the voice of Thomas the Tank Engine since Ringo left the job.
  7. Steve Harley and Cockney Rebel - Mr Soft
  8. Elton John and Kiki Dee - Don’t Go Breaking My Heart
  9. The Fascinations - Girls Are Out To Get You
  10. Secret Affair - Time For Action
  11. Speedie certainly does mate - I once spoke to him at a function at Hampden Park about it and he loved his time with us as well (not surprisingly really). He said he still gets a lot of Rovers fans saying nice things about his time at Ewood,
  12. The Jam - When You're Young
  13. The Jam - Music For the Last Couple
  14. The Style Council - Boy Who Cried Wolf
  15. Showaddywaddy - Under The Moon of Love
  16. Lee Dorsey - Everything I Do Gonna Be Funky (From Now On)
  17. Archibald would be another for me, though I do recognise that he was playing at a level below his talents when he signed for us.
  18. New Order - World In Motion (Could have picked loads of Jam songs here but resisted)
