  1. Richard Ashcroft really should have been a superstar. One of the best frontmen I’ve ever seen.
  2. He was watching the Leicester game on his phone so was distracted is my opinion.
  3. The Fall - Hit The North
  4. Train - Drops Of Jupiter
  5. Spot on Gav but I did laugh when the commentator said (as they were clearing the tennis balls off the pitch), "They only brought a couple of tubes"!!
  6. Dexys Midnight Runners - Geno From one of the finest debut albums ever IMHO
  7. Thin Lizzy - The Boys Are Back In Town
  8. Hopefully, she only gave birth on Saturday 😱
  9. To those slagging Shearer off - he actually got quite emotional when talking about his time at Rovers pre-match and spoke lovingly of the Club, the town and the people. But he’s a Newcastle fan at the end of the day and he hasn’t seen them win anything in his lifetime so of course he wanted them to win. Great shift from the Rovers tonight. Carry that into the league games and we will be fine. Pears and Eustace the big winners tonight I would suggest.
  10. Neil Young - On the Beach
  11. It Bites - Calling All The Heroes
  12. The Style Council - The Whole Point Of No Return
  13. David Bowie - The Man Who Sold the World
  14. I think (hope!) a few lessons are being learned on this tour. The biggest one I've learned is that the next world cricket superstar is Indian.
  15. Its the standard 15% of any profit I believe.
  16. I agree but he would have been sent off for sure then.
  17. Jimmy is eyeing 700 wickets here!
  18. The Questions - Work and Play
  19. Simply Red - A New Flame
  20. George Harrison - I've Got My Mind Set On You
  21. Andrew Gold - Thank You For Being A Friend
  22. Decent day for England in the end. 350ish will be a very decent score on this pitch.
  23. Everything But the Girl - These Early Days
  24. RIP John Savident, who played Fred Elliott in Corrie for many years.
  25. RIP Paul. Its striking to note how many of the players on those photos are no longer with us, and it doesn't seem that long ago either 😞
