  1. That’s our team leader in goals scored from the striker position
  2. Leonard has 3 the other two combined have nil. War of attrition for that starting role. In all fairness the way we pass the ball so much it seems as though we need a big ugly who could pose a threat from crosses in, which none of our 4 (including Gally) seem proficient at.
  3. Someone at some point needs to be able to win a duel in the attacking half.
  4. We’re going to need a 4th as we won’t keep them to 2
  5. Easily could have been 3-3 there. We have no desire to defend.
  6. All our financial troubles will be solved when we loan him to a premier side next summer to save on wages
  7. Save by Leo. Sure it was floated at him from 40 out, but it’s a save
  8. Link up is fine but not sure he’s much of a threat to score today or ever.
  9. At least good practice of playing from a negative position.
  10. We’re a Sammy and nothing else up top.
  11. Siggys first touch there ruins an opportunity. Why take it so wide
  12. Add to that we’ve gotten what 2 goals from strikers all season?
  13. Two center backs and a center mid fucking about while the one player in the box is left alone to score.
  14. I do believe there’s some truth to what JDT says. Players want to play and advance their careers, managers pick who they believe are best suited and those things don’t always match up. Trav wants to play, and in his best position, JDT doesn’t seem him as better than alternatives. The interesting part is the fact the best offer available was a loan within the division to a side based on record you’d assume Trav would struggle to get minutes at. All this move does is shuffle his wages for 6 months and punt the transfer to summer
  15. Loaning u21 players means 1) we don’t have the funds for permanent transfer fees 2) we can’t cover the wages of older experienced players and 3) were likely cash strapped for the foreseeable future
  16. Much rather play for promotion than watch relegation from the sideline.
  17. Probably as many minutes at right back as center mid
  18. Travis loan is clearly cost cutting. He’s got to be on a decent wage and if JRC is healthy, the club clearing the path for Wharton and Garrett and the form of Trondstad Travis is 5th choice. Why a loan deal that doesn’t give us any funds to strengthen the squad only means the funds from India are not coming.
  19. Would be a shame to sell Carter. He’s really come on the last 2 seasons and would leave a massive gap. We haven’t replaced Phillips from the late Dpurs move so if Carter were sold we’d need to bring in 2 center halves. Travis has to go, he’s clearly not in favor but I think we’ll be hard pressed to get £1 million for him due to form and lack of playing. Markanday needs to go out of loan, as no one is buying him and he clearly can’t play at this level. With Gally back soon, Ennis and Telalovic we can let Leonard go to league 1 and bag 15 goals in the second half. We desperately need cover at right and left back. If Carter, Leonard, Travis and Markanday go we need at least 6 in the door. I just don’t see that happening
