Valérien Ismaël: Blackburn Rovers Head Coach
USABlue replied to DE.'s topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Of course not, his job is not done yet but he is well on target to acheive the desired relegation. -
Yeah was mishit, you are right on Toth not so the ref. He had a great game if you are a Coventry fan. Did not punish simulation, free kick before goal was not. Coventry constantly holding never punished, tiny Ohashi punished for "flooring" blokes that towered above him and outweighed him considerably yet nothing given when he is sent sprawling and so on and so on ad nauseum. His whistle blew every.time Coventry fans hit the required decibels. Another we fouled one of theirs nothing more ref gave foul and was leaving it at that, after the Coventry player worked him he dished a final warning to us. I suppose he did well in that he did not deny us penalty claims, no can't agree with your assessment on the ref. Course I could just be biased. Such a shame we played well, such a shame our manager is thick. What worried me most is we gave up, no heart BigMacs body language clearly showed he would rather be doing something else. Takes off Ohashi, keep crossing high floaty balls in for our midget forward line and then stops when we bring on someone who has a chance of winning headers. We deserved more but I think all relegated teams can sing from that hymn sheet. Wilder will get his Blades firing on Tuesday. Bottom soon enough. Disgraceful way to "run" a fiotball club, poor Jack.

I wondered that too. Thought he was doing well.
-
Let's hope so, only plus maybe Coventry would have focused on Todd in their preperation so hope it throw em off.
-
I hope Henrikson and Gudjohnsen are better than we have seen so fat or it could get pretty ugly. Cantwell is a big miss, what's the problem?
-
I did say bottom by Bonfire Night, looks nailed on.
-
Coventry's last three wins are by 3,4 and 5 goals, could they get 6 today?

Jon Dahl Tomasson - no longer Sweden coach

Always miffed at him for that and not playing the Wharton brothers. At least they would have been fired up for it. -
Me either I do not like that fella.

2025 Summer Transfer Thread. 😂

Appreciate the update on Baradji at least it is something. Foot injuries can be difficult due to limited blood flow. Must be handled properly or it will become a life long struggle. -
2025 Summer Transfer Thread. 😂

VI said medium term what ever that means. It is becoming more and more apparent that they had no clue as tonthe actual extent of his injust or what it would take to get him healthy. Idiots the lot of em. As for Scotty's new contract well that is to help inflate his sale price nothing more nothing less. A real dumbass move shipping Hyam off but they just don't care they don't not a one of em. January outs, Tronstadt, Wharton and Cantwell. -
Thanks. Funny the comments about the ref, so it continues even when they leave Rovers.

What are Palace fans saying about our boy. Do they agree with us that they stole him, curious if they live him kike we did. If there is a Palace thrrad on him I'd love a link, I watch Palace everytime I can but if he is not playing I change channel. Palace may now be my 2nd favourite club now. We really screwed up letting him go and I thought he had screwed up going so soon. I thiught he should have stayed another season or two to get better however he seems to have made the step up spectacularly. What a joy to watch he can be.

I have felt since the off this will be an engineered relegation. Can't get rid of the feeling Venkies WANT that. At times we have played quite decent giving me hope, even prompted me to take the humble pie out the freezer only for Charlton and Swansea to.kick me in the nuts and back to doom and gloom. A little more luck, a ref or two that can actully see and things wiuld look a lot different. Thing is that is how luck goes for those going down.

True most likely but, how could we know. As a keeper he should be aware of danger being present or not but bottom line is no goals from it right. To my point he's better than Ainsley at the moment, by a ways in my opinion. Your opinion is different, wrong but different. I just don't believe you can't see it Rev that's all. I can't be wrong now can I? Funny thing is my wife even mentioned it today and she is not that up on footy. On a separate note. Is this Baradji signing taining at all, is he in re-hab what the heck is his status. I have not seen anything on him at all really. -

What irritated me today and leads me to believe we are just not very football savvy and that our leaders aren't too clever. We had 4ft 9 attackers up against 6ft 15 behemoths in Stokes middle defence. So knowing this what do we do? Send in high looping balls to the middle, just meat and drink for Stoke allows them time too. Surely low or lowish and hard is the way to go preferably in an area that has the defenders turning tontheir goal. Similar to the cross that was just too far ahead of Gudjohnsen so he was not able to get to. That ilk of cross. These are the types of crosses that give big defenders fits and allow drop downs, force mistakes and 2nd balls for our lil demons to get on to. This should not be hard but it is alien to our lot. Someone mention the same about Millers throws, yes, without BigMac we just can not win those high arcing balls. -

I think they will hang a for sale sign round Whartons neck too. Hence the contract bump and slow comeback. -

Was a difficult one for sure, he was also in oerfect oosition tonscore but the cross in to him was dog shit and he could not get there a yard and a half further back and he's on the scoresheet. -

We missed a trick not starting him immediately after his first two sub appearances, he looked sharp and high on confidence seems to have ebbed with the wait. -

We should be a good proposition, been there done that and were holding our own in the top league until these pretenders came along. Should show any potential owner what we are capable if under good stewardship it's just these idiots will never sell. Their exit strategy is to manage us down till there is no club left to own. Another Bury? -

So there was no danger then? did not lead to a goal like so many of Ainsleys did. Not the finished article but better than Pears by some way -

That TGH is impressing me some and a Mc? whose name I can not spell has shown SOME promise but Alebiosu is a good signing, TGH streets ahead if Tavares and looks to be enjoying himself here. Cantwell good, really good at times. Seems like the opposition like to try to kick him out of games early and he gets little protection from refs. Shits out of some 50-50's on song he's a good watch. -

Once? Pears does that regularly Toth once in a while ALL keepers will Toth generally get's it to the side. Even if you are right that is it. Toth is better with his angles, coming out, catching, kicking, shot stopping mostly, quite a bit younger than Pears too isn't he. But if you want a keeper who never parries a ball into the danger area I'm afraid there isn't one and Pears did that on a more regular basis than Toth. Aso Toth HAS even improved in his ti.e here Pears? Well he's as shit today as he's always been, showed no improvement ither than a short spell where he did fairly well but the the bottom seemed to drop out Have we seen a Wednesday style blunder from Toth yet, Ainsley entertained us with more than one in huge huge games too, so Rev, roll one for me mate.
