I don’t dislike him but I’m yet to be fully convinced. a good manager doesn’t allow january to fail so bad, he is banging on the door making noise about how he needs x y and z a good manager doesn’t allow the pass it around the back nonsense that gives the opposition how many goals this season, when clearly we don’t have the players for this a good manager doesn’t change the team and formation that lets us lose leads and invites pressure a good manager can change a game in our favour when we go behind a good manager plays our best players in the correct positions, we can all see a wharton is miles ahead of Morton yet who have we seen more of a world class striker in his day gets more out of the strikers we have at the club, have any of them improved this season? can you see where I’m going here?

Two games in a row we have allowed an opposition player the freedom of Ewood after the ht break to waltz from their own half to the edge of our box. What exactly is Jdt sending them back fired up with. I really didn’t like the way we started to camp in our own half , we asked for that ending

Brereton is a confidence player , at this moment in time he has none. I wouldn’t be starting him when he is like this. I don’t think Pickering is all that bad , I’d prefer if he was a sub but don’t groan when I see his name on the team sheet

Wharton sees the game a lot clearer than Morton, knows what passes to make whereas Morton would lose it

Well because he is out of favour at wba who have already said they will be bringing in a forward in the summer meaning he will be available. 4-5 mill will net him. We aren’t going to get a proven striker from europe at this price

Well was it worth my 6 hour drive down, not a chance. I will start with a positive- I thought szmodics was decent and tried to get us forward. I thought jrc was good until he ran out of gas. now the negatives. so frustrating to watch us play it around at the back and constantly make mistakes. We aren’t good enough to do this. Was having kittens every time they done this. Plus it slows us right down and shows no urgency. hyam looks nervous, I don’t know if he is just knackered but he needs some bench time. pears doesn’t command the back, there was a near monumental mix up because there was just no communication , I was listening he didn’t bark orders all night, time for kaminski to come back in. morton- not good enough, set pieces were wasteful. travis- when he is good he is great but too often he doesn’t offer anything, he has a shot on him but seems reluctant to pull the trigger. Also ballsed up some very good opportunities to cross the ball , clearly another aspect of his game that’s lacking. I’m sorry to say I think he needs replaced next season. gallagher- Iv tried to defend him but he is never going to be a top striker, there is just no desire to make runs to get space or attack crosses. Far too many times we played crosses and nobody was near it. diaz- awful. You can go to Spain just now, also dives a lot. Detrimental to the team just now dolan- stop trying to do tricks and flicks and just do the basics like hitting the back of the net. thomas- don’t think he is going to worth whatever fee Huddersfield want, looks like he might be good but doesn’t do it. jdt- I want to have total confidence in you but I’m still unconvinced in all honesty. Team shape was all wrong , overloading the right side, players not looking up and switching play to the players in space, everyone alriund me could see it but you couldn’t. Also team was wrong and subs too late. Have we just been lucky to be where we are due to a poor championship this season. Jury still out for me .
