Said before the game that weimann is probably our best finisher and he seems to be the only one that has a strikers instinct, he is going to give games where he is ineffective and tired but I’d rather have him up there than gueye, what a difference a few days makes. I still think we will be closer to relegation than playoffs come the end of the season but nice to finish up for a couple of weeks with a win and a cushion

Ohashi started off so composed with us, the dink v derby, the brave equaliser at Norwich , the two crackers v Bristol city but he has hit a wall now and his finishing has looked anything like composed. It’s a relationship that’s turning sour very quickly after a great start , don’t know if he needs a rest or what but we need him to find his scoring boots again because our other option is a disaster

Coventry fans are fuming and rightly so, robins made them relevant again. And they aren’t even that far away in the league. as much as I was happy with eustace and have defended him there still seems to be an issue with making us an attacking side , there is red flags for sure , he hasn’t stamped any identity in this side and any that he had- hard to beat- is currently crumbling id be happy with robins here

The difference between Gallagher and gueye is that Gallagher worked hard and was actually really good at helping defend but for him doing that it cost us actually having him in positions to score. Gueye gets in the positions to score but he isn’t good enough to do so. Ultimately neither are good enough to be our focal point up top and we better have a plan to get somebody who will score in January or we will drop. ohashi papered over some cracks early season but I don’t know if it’s now burnout or what but he has lacked quality the past month, he is becoming very frustrating to watch as chances are being wasted that he should be doing better with. quite simply we need more pace, more direct and much more composure from the front lot. I think baker should come in for one of sonny or travis and push a bit further on. Hedges can’t be playing, I said this when we signed him, he is crap. really need the Brighton winger in who looks like he could give us some drive , sadly been robbed of him with Injury’s

Mind telovic missing a sitter of a header against was it Birmingham? Never recovered. I don’t think we should see him in a Blackburn shirt again , he isn’t this level , even a bad one

Don’t think you can play either think the formation needs to be changed to a 4-2-3-1 because we don’t have capable wingers I think until we can change personnel in January you go Dolan/ Sigurddson - cantwell - ohashi in behind - he hasn’t been great but he is our only player with a somewhat championship goal record in andi weimann up top. It’s a horrible situation to be in but we are never scoring unless we change something think we are massively missing beck- carter and the Brighton lad , they would all be starters for us

Those clamouring for Leonard up top, he showed in 10 minutes why he isn’t. I have never rated him

Gueye actually won the ball in our half, dodged a couple of challenges and instead of just popping it off to whoever was beside him he decided to swivel and blindly hit it to the opposite side of the pitch where none of our players were remotely close , baffling decision. Probably the point I condemned him to a bit of a donkey. When are we going to get that role correct, last two have been hard workers but far from goalscorers

We didn’t deserve the defeat but it’s our own fault that we did. Hyam has to have a bit more composure even for a centre half. Scores that and it’s a different game. Weimann who I was delighted we got done in the summer has to finish too, he has dropped off after a very good start. Gueye isn’t going to be what we need, another koita. He did have one shot that was finding the corner that got blocked but he has to be braver with crosses and his touch and passing is woeful. He could also have gave away a pen with stupid pushing in the box before a corner, I think he is going to give a few away this season ohashi has also dropped off, from looking so composed a few weeks ago he is rushing his chances , he had some good chances to do something when he was on and fluffed them all, I was frustrated with him. we started really brightly too, zipping passes about and pinning them in but we don’t have a good focal point up top, time we opened up that vault and got somebody in that’s going to take us to the next level. I thought cantwell and brittain were very good for the positives. I think in today’s game it was a pen as much as it’s soft and I don’t necessarily agree with it, his hands were up and it’s stopped the attack for them. Would have wanted it at the other end. I am getting concerned about geuye after a ok start. If he isn’t scoring then he isn’t an improvement on Gallagher and it’s worrying where our goals are going to come from. Ohashi looks like he is going to be ok but not reliable not to have games where he is invisible. I wanted hyam replaced in the summer , I don’t think he is good enough for the championship , he gets nervy and flappy Think the Brighton youngster has to start over Dolan and maybe look at bringing tyjon into the squad for some young legs
