  1. People used to say this about our pitch in the 90s, sure it won awards for best playing surface , sadly another sign of our decline the past 20 odd years
  2. They were both overall excellent last night but szmodics and Dolan really should have added to their tallies, some really poor shooting and that includes hedges too. There will be tighter games where we get 1 or 2 chances like that and they need to be more clinical. I’m nit picking because I’m delighted with that last night, maybe Jdt knew what he was searching for all along, I had my doubts
  3. Pears stays in until there is a reason to drop him, didn’t put a foot wrong tonight
  4. That was the most Iv enjoyed a game in a long time- and felt nervous at the end. Super proud tonight . Wish we could be like that all the time, full of tempo and drive to get shots away. I don’t think Morton was as bad as made out, put a few good blocks in. Vale I don’t see anything in
  5. Jrc is turning into a personal favourite of mine, never thought I’d say it
  6. Wasn’t the first time we saw samba in an fa cup tie v Luton? We ran out comfortable winners with Derbyshire scoring at least one. Think dunny had just returned too
  7. Can’t see this happening after this length of time
  8. Can’t grumble with a point at Watford, I expected a defeat before the game so I’m happy off topic but special mention to jrc for his upturn in form, didn’t think he had it in him and was all prepared for him sliding down the leagues and to obscurity but the lad now has a future here
  9. Performance to echo the fans enthusiasm for the club just now I feel. Pitch is rotten too, should be massively apologising to Kelly who had an excellent game until the pitch kicked him
  10. Boos should’ve been more emphatic with the enemy within in the crowd
  11. Almost like we could do with a striker and a midfield driving force and
  12. See if we knew we were going for these players why didn’t we have paperwork ready in case they dropped on deadline day, mistakes will be made if we are rushing and under stress but if given plenty of time to be thorough then these don’t happen. Then when we get him through the door it’s just a case of sign here here and here, TiVo a few boxes, submit. We surely knew who o briens agent is so that could already have been filled in
  13. As others have said , I’m sure we could have used someone else on a night where you know, we are busy trying to get deals over the line. My priority on Tuesday wasn’t on the game it was watching the transfer window so his should’ve been too. Not really arsed about fighting it out for the honour of getting pumped off Leicester. Priority should be staying in the playoffs and giving us a chance
  14. What are they getting out of owning our club? I thought they bought us thinking that it was good for their global image to have venkys plastered all over the premiership but 10+ years later and they aren’t getting anything like they hoped and seem as distant as ever. It’s like owning a yacht but never being bothered to actually use it, just signing bills at the end of the month. I don’t get it
  15. Waggot going to Birmingham shows me he enjoys looking the part and the good part of the job and shirks the busy and stressful part of the job. no excuses, not fit for purpose
  16. Well rovers have sucked the life out of me football wise, I’m done. the transfer window was the last semi decent thing of the season when you had a bit of hope and expectation but this will forever tarnish windows when we look back. I will be looking in from afar. Rip blackburn rovers
