Well was it worth my 6 hour drive down, not a chance. I will start with a positive- I thought szmodics was decent and tried to get us forward. I thought jrc was good until he ran out of gas. now the negatives. so frustrating to watch us play it around at the back and constantly make mistakes. We aren’t good enough to do this. Was having kittens every time they done this. Plus it slows us right down and shows no urgency. hyam looks nervous, I don’t know if he is just knackered but he needs some bench time. pears doesn’t command the back, there was a near monumental mix up because there was just no communication , I was listening he didn’t bark orders all night, time for kaminski to come back in. morton- not good enough, set pieces were wasteful. travis- when he is good he is great but too often he doesn’t offer anything, he has a shot on him but seems reluctant to pull the trigger. Also ballsed up some very good opportunities to cross the ball , clearly another aspect of his game that’s lacking. I’m sorry to say I think he needs replaced next season. gallagher- Iv tried to defend him but he is never going to be a top striker, there is just no desire to make runs to get space or attack crosses. Far too many times we played crosses and nobody was near it. diaz- awful. You can go to Spain just now, also dives a lot. Detrimental to the team just now dolan- stop trying to do tricks and flicks and just do the basics like hitting the back of the net. thomas- don’t think he is going to worth whatever fee Huddersfield want, looks like he might be good but doesn’t do it. jdt- I want to have total confidence in you but I’m still unconvinced in all honesty. Team shape was all wrong , overloading the right side, players not looking up and switching play to the players in space, everyone alriund me could see it but you couldn’t. Also team was wrong and subs too late. Have we just been lucky to be where we are due to a poor championship this season. Jury still out for me .

I didn’t have an opinion on sheff Utd until this season but feels like they have cheated here so I now dislike them as a club. they nicked our top target when they didn’t have the money to pay for it, it’s fraud. Could be the difference between us and them going up. Giving them an embargo afterwards seems like a futile punishment , but hey when has the efl ever looked out or done us a favour , just really annoying

Leverkusen in the eufa cup under Hughes, they employed some right shit house tactics and I really wanted to beat them, sadly we could only muster a 0-0 at Ewood that knocked us out having lost the first game 3-2

Bit of an overreaction on morten imo. He showed bravery going for the second goal, he is a young lad and he got a poke in the eye and stopped playing, he will learn. im disappointed but more so I’m proud of the lads today, stood up to a hostile environment and gave it their all, showing that they can play under pressure. Feel this will put us in good stead for the rest of the season and they won’t want to suffer the same disappointment in our ultimate quest. let’s get a bit of perspective albeit I know everyone will be disappointed about not going to Wembley

Gave a very good account of ourselves, can’t fault the effort from the lads. Disappointing but was always a free hit. I thought pears might have been able to save that winner as good a hit as it was, got a hand to it

One of those wins that makes you more angry than happy, how we weren’t on east street I will never know, but if composure up top and we could’ve had 4, 5 easy, as it was we got hit by the sucker punch and even at the end there we were hanging in with some very poor game management, get it in the corner, make the extra man count and keep the ball. didn’t think the tactics were right here, exactly the type of match Dolan is made for, much more than stoke, he should’ve started.
