In his defence that’s the one aspect of his play that I don’t think is lacking, he gets about at helps out the defence, to the detriment of our forward play at times

Anybody in the stands could have came down to the dugout at half time and decided to play players in their correct position and changed that game, it wasn’t a massive change needed , galling thing was that it took him 45 mins to see that for me

We played well for 20 minutes , derby had chances to equalise and we didn’t exactly look like scoring ourselves again until Giles crossed for gallagher, after they were down to 10. Saying it was a brilliant 45 are wide of the mark . A bit of effort and quality at last saw us turn it around

He has set the team up to have a distinct lack of goals or ideas in recent months , he also didn’t change it to win the games at Millwall or Bristol city , my issue on him is tactics, lack of nous to affect games in our favour and generally his poor managerial record, I couldn’t give a shit about his demeanour albeit he hardly inspires enthusiasm. Real lack of quality in this league this year, had we a decent manager I’d suggest we would be creeping up on a promotion, as it is we are slowly falling down the league and out the playoffs, I have no real confidence that we are going to be in the mix come the end and even less confidence of doing anything should we stumble in there , no doubt mowbray would try and throw a curveball and have players playing all over the shop and nobody actually know what they are doing ala first half. you try and defend him but really he is indefensible at times, he must be an absolute nightmare to be managed by.

Match that reminded me of the league 1 campaign , won the game in a 20 minute spell but diabolical for the rest of it.

Delighted for wharton, delighted for dack, delighted for gallagher pleased just to score and the three points again embarrassed by our managements thinking that first half where derby should have been 2 up. Can’t say I enjoyed it
