  1. Ainsworths Wycombe remind me of 90s Wimbledon the crazy gang. I just don’t think that style will work here
  2. Job is too big for him and he comes across very dour in interviews and he is no name in football, Dundee Utd aren’t exactly setting the heather on fire , avoid please
  3. Depends if he wants Into management, really like him but as a manager hmm not for me but I was merely commenting on his odds coming down from 50s to 10s, somebody is putting money on him. courts is a no, don’t know where that’s came from but also down to 10s
  4. My top 5 realistic wish list 1. Bilic 2. farke 3. Danny Cowley 4. Michael carrick 5. Chris hughton so yea ainsworth isn’t in my top 5, I’d get behind him if he came here I just don’t see it working out. told you to keep an eye on Duncan Ferguson and his odds have came crashing down, same as tam courts and Neil Lennon, hope not , any of these would be an anticlimax
  5. Woodgate- world class defender , dog and duck manager, avoid keane- like him but stay in the media, him and venkys would be a disaster benni- liked him at rovers but I always thought he was a bit of a clown, can’t see him being a good manager, needs a few more brain cells one to watch- Duncan Ferguson has tumbled the last few days in the betting, again I like him but I wouldn’t want him as manager, I could see a venkys type appointment being him and unsworth together however mowbray meeting- exit interview
  6. On the out of contract three, personally don’t think any of them are premier league quality , if they can get a West Brom or that ilk to give them more money then fair play to them. Not unduly concerned about any of them going but for the fact it will cost a lot more to replace them which is probably money we don’t have. Out of the three if I could get one to stay it would be lenihan yet he is probably the one furthest away from prem quality , go figure.
  7. No he really didn’t, scraped through the leagues then failed to get promoted to the spl and knocked out the cup to Alloa, it was a major failure and led to an awkward feeling among the rangers fans as he is right up there as a rangers legend but they didn’t want him as manager , he was chipping away at his legendary status when he decided to call it quits and went on gardening leave
  8. As I said I’m not advocating for di matteo but mowbray was also on the football scrap head when he came here. I’m not really one for ainsworth either, I can’t put my finger on it but it just screams failure to me , I think it’s the fact that past players, connections to clubs just never seem to do well, it’s like everyone wants it to work and maybe try too hard but it rarely comes off. Off the top of my head shearer- newcastle solskjaer- Man Utd mcoist- rangers berg- here
  9. Think the main thing is that they have to get this right, already far too many fans that feel alienated from the club , and complete apathy towards the clubs fortunes, we were going down a dangerous path with mowbray I felt as it was all too predictable and samey. Let’s get some pride and entertainment back to Ewood. I’m well aware that venkys will continue to divide but if they get this appointment right then maybe we can move forward
  10. Almost ruined his career that documentary, before then he was quite well regarded but yea he didn’t come across well at all
  11. I wouldn’t want cocu, most of the names linked would be a disappointment other than farke but he did do well with psv and derby were on the slide well before he came in, I wouldn’t 100% go on that spell. It’s not a coyle appointment for me
  12. I’m not advocating for di matteo it’s just whispers Iv heard but he does have a promotion from the league. Also a champs league on his cv, don’t think we could get anyone else with that in their credentials
  13. Yea there has been agent contact. doesn’t mean he is nailed on or anything just that he is interested Stam another who wants a return. dream appointment other than pie in the sky stuff? probably slavan bilic
  14. I am maybe blinded slightly but I wouldn’t be devastated at a Hughes return , some folk are just suited to a team and I felt we were a good fit
  15. I don’t think many if any could complain about farke, although probably wouldn’t be my dream appointment I really couldn’t grumble and with the names at the top of the betting he is who I would choose. I was actually pleased with lambert at the time, it didn’t work out but I can’t say that they have never shown ambition before. still hearing whispers of di matteo being in the mix personally
  16. I really wouldn’t be surprised if the venkys didn’t have a clue about what was going on at Ewood and they just let the remaining stuff muddle by, it could very well be an utter shit show this summer. still I’m delighted mowbray is away , I just hope they have the matter in hand
  17. Galling to think of the points we have thrown away to get to this stage , sheff Utd are taking our place here , we should have had them buried
  18. Wonder if sky will give us good odds on a brereton style goal machine from nowhere next season. I’d be happy to go with 15 if in the hundreds/1
  19. @roversfan99 back in early feb I had a debate with you about pushing buckley further back and you disagreed wanting him to be the false 9 nonsense, well he has just played his best game in a rovers shirt playing deeper, thoughts?
  20. Tried to tell this to some on here at the start of the bad form and they insisted he had to play up top because it helped out press , clueless
  21. Weirdly mowbrays pre match interview looked energised and chipper , a big difference to the last few months and then we get that performance , coincidence?
