  1. Noticed in the first half two incidents, one where sarr just knocked it past him and he couldn’t keep up forcing a centre half to come over and cover for his poor speed and another attacking where he didn’t have the legs so played a long cross field ball rather than run down the wing. Speed/fitness issues there
  2. Good goal elliot, shame your wasted here in all honesty. Sadly it will still be a defeat come 90. Following the same route as Preston game
  3. 3 seasons too late but cmon, I sense it’s close, surely. Taxi for mowbray. Let me enjoy my team again
  4. Exactly what I’m seeing mate, absolutely nonsence tactic on what is a heavy boggy pitch, Armstrong will be done by half time chasing nothing balls
  5. I like him but the reason he was bombed out his previous club was too many silly errors, I think he has it in his locker
  6. Sigh, long ball to Armstrong tactic playing like the away side. How much longer do we have to endure this shite
  7. Absolutely, those backbone players that hold everything together. The goal scorers , flashy skills players get the headlines but it’s your blood and guts guys that allow them to
  8. Quite possibly. I remember thinking bowyers biggest mistake was not perm signing David Jones when we needed that type of player in the middle. Got the poor Williamson instead and a talented team - Rhodes, king, cairney, gestede etc were let down by midfield partnership of Williamson and lowe. Jones moved to Burnley and secured promotion
  9. Kaminski- top 6 nyambe- top half lenihan- not good enough in my opinion, would happily sell ayala- seems a mistake, too 6 in his day, not sure he will ever be physically able anymore williams- not good enough loan guys/ we shouldn’t be loaning centre backs, that’s a fault of management. Not ready bell- not championship douglas- doesn’t suit us Wharton- haven’t seen enough. Probably should have been blooded much sooner holtby- not consistent, not fit, no good johnson- too old now, not too 6 trybull- nope evans- barely championship quality, not top 6 travis- top 6 dack- inconsistent, on his day top 6, needs to work hard to get back to where he was downing- too old chapman- not managed correctly Costello/- not seen enough buckley/ lightweight, not top 6 gallagher- nope, poorly managed armstrong- top 6 but needs managed better to become less selfish and working on 1 v 1s to utilise his pace rothwell- nope, has talent but doesn’t use it , would be a league 1 show pony Davenport- poorly managed, not top 6 on current viewing elliot- shining light but not our player manager- league 1
  10. I think Watford will beat us but we will get something from Coventry. Still useless and needs gone ASAP tho.
  11. It’s definitely not the fans picking the team, whole fan base can see gallagher on the wing doesn’t work, just the man in the dugout is determined that one day it will come off
  12. Literally take anyone at this stage,,,, anyone. I hate paul cook with a passion. I’d even take him
  13. If your shortlist was that agency one then no I don’t want any of them
  14. Time up for mowbray? I’m glad you have gave some negative response towards mowbray. It’s a start
  15. Out of a change of manager gamble or going into administration gamble I know I’d rather just change the man at the helm. I completely understand your want for a new ownership I just can’t comprehend if it went wrong
  16. I don’t like what venkys have done to the club as much as anything, however going into administration doesn’t bear thinking about in my opinion. Who is going to want to buy into something to lose millions of pounds
  17. Poor management absolutely, but they pull the plug and we don’t have a club. A necessary evil I’m afraid so best to let’s just make the best of it
  18. We will see. Iv got a feeling next appointment will be better than hat we currently have or had. Venkys are ploughing money hand over fist now in an attempt to get to the prem league, they must know they need right man for the job. Like to think lessons learned
  19. I’m not going by other so called bigger clubs that shouldn’t be there failures. I’m going by what Iv seen with my own eyes and my own beliefs for my club and it’s ambition. Mowbray doesn’t work for either
  20. I think they have altered their ways quite a few times. Got rid of the shebby Singh nonsence, Jerome Anderson ways, giving managers time now instead of sacking on a whim, pumping money in and not forcing fire sales. I’m not saying they are perfect by any stretch but willing to change I’d suggest a case could be argued
  21. Lazy to suggest we only go for managers attached to one agency. Venkys for all their faults have shown they are willing to change and learn from past mistakes. I said myself maybe carrick doesn’t want to be manager. to suggest he is too good for us is baffling, see no reason why we aren’t thought of as an attractive management job
  22. Who took us down? Coyle may have started the process but he didn’t finish it. We had a chance to stay up, lack of ambition in games such as Preston and somebody else , fails me, but anyway we drew 0-0. Relegated. I don’t see much particularly good that any journeyman manager wouldn’t have been able to do. Not my head that needs wobbled, it’s your tinted specs . Open your eyes lad
