  1. Just came across this thread, some of you have real inspirational and sad stories to tell, much respect to all that shared personal journeys. Tyrone and jackanory , you guys are two of the best posters, you already had my respect but wow gents.
  2. Ehh that article is talking about a deal which I have then replied to and you have somehow added van hecke into the deal , you have jumped the gun. I don’t see us getting van hecke regardless
  3. The article says van hecke is going to be given a go at Brighton though so that isn’t the deal being talked about here
  4. Scores in an England game and suddenly he is wanted property, journos are so predictable. In reply to the guff article however in no way would I entertain a straight swap Dolan for Khadra, I think Dolan has much more potential whereas Khadra has weaknesses to his game that he will never improve to a high level. Pace but doesn’t know how to use it
  5. 4/10, below average of the most average of managers of the dinosaur era , he gets a few points for signings, and a few points for some decent runs that have kept us away from relegation , rest is all negative I’m afraid that I won’t go into as it’s already been said plead that he is gone in the summer, club needs a new direction , I think majority of the fans are bored of this regime
  6. Jeez that’s an incredible stat mate, chaddy defend this one , no way you can
  7. Think we can just agree they are both dire at this level
  8. Before Xmas all we had doing it was brereton and even he has dried up. The Chile thing might be good for his confidence but it’s not great for our club that he is so unavailable from it. That being said we shouldn’t be relying on one player , replacements weren’t found or poor recruitment have caused this to be the case. the way you answered the previous post shows clearly you didn’t understand or read my post correctly in that you were trying to dissect levels of crapness between the managers
  9. Tbf, mowbray has had 10 times the bank roll coyle got . He has a promotion nearer than mowbray has
  10. Maybe read my actual post instead of misquoting me then, I said most damaging, been here for the longest time without actually doing very much good for the here and now and future. Truth is they are all crap managers , mowbray makes tactical headscratchers much more than the other two from my memory however. so before calling it nonsense please make sure you understand my point because clearly you don’t here. squad capable? Iv seen nothing but dross from us since Xmas, literally nobody that can show any composure or put the ball into the net. And if you don’t score lad, well , you don’t win games
  11. Can we shy away from the zeefuik deal because he is shyte and get Spence in from boro instead of they are going with their young rb. Spence is a cracking player, a nyambe upgrade
  12. As pathetic as at lot of your nonsense today I would suggest, as a fair few folk seem to disagree with you. At this point I don’t think it matters what formation we play, the management and players aren’t good enough to make anything work, a total rethink and rebuild needed come the summer, let’s limp towards mid table in this one then regroup, get rid of the deadwood- mowbray and think where are we actually wanting to go here
  13. I have moved on it’s you that’s harping back to it as a major achievement. kean and coyle as bad as they were wouldn’t get trounced 7-0 at home or play Bradley Johnson as a false 9, something to think about
  14. Nonsense in all honesty chaddy, we haven’t scored in7 away games and a lot of that time we haven’t looked like scoring either. That’s indefensible and to say that we have ever been as bad as that is bollocks . Mowbray setting bad records all over the place and your defending him, time to give up on your love for him
  15. If you read properly I corrected it to say I will give you kean as more damaging for the relegation out the premier league. The credit- for all it is- for the promotion from league 1, not winners mind you, is well and truly spent now. It wasn’t pretty to watch In the first place
  16. I get that kean is another level, I think mowbray is well on the way there now. On at least par with coyle. I don’t remember the football being as bad under kean however as mowbrays duff, I mean we scored goals at least! Just couldn’t keep them out the other end.
  17. I know it’s a risk to have a first time manager but I’d be more than happy to give carrick his first go , absolute leader on the pitch and read the game brilliantly , plus he would have a good few contacts to step on for players. Think we could do a lot worse
  18. Btw Nixon is saying Stoke are looking at mowbray, please give us a souey situation
  19. Great post, summed up my feelings to a tee
  20. I said at the time he was nowhere near good enough and some disagreed
  21. Know what argument makes me want to bludgeon my head against a thought cast wall “ I don’t want mowbray but I’m too scared as to who they would appoint next to want a change” aghhhhhhhhh!!!!! we are better than this, living in fear, no ambition
  22. Worst appointment - most damaging . Mowbray costing us millions by throwing away a league 1 title followed by a shot at promotion, not to mention the 4 years of no hope wilderness. Il give you kean but even he played players in their proper positions and did sign some decent players. coyle was hopeless but he was fairly quick in and out, albeit cost us relegation but by not getting promoted as I said, mowbray has cost us more. I’m disgusted by him this evening
