  1. Was going to post this, he would be a good signing at our level. heck might even take bitton too
  2. I was out off carvahal by the number of clubs he was at it but I have to say I’m coming round to the idea enough that I would be happy with it. If he comes he must be getting assurances of money to spend and going for it
  3. I put him in the same category as dyche- would 100% be overjoyed but it’s pie in the sky stuff , he will have suitors much higher up the chain than us
  4. I agree that betting markets have to be taken with caution but when a lot of money suddenly goes on somebody and odds come tumbling down it’s either itk’ers or from somebody bullshitting but although mowbray might have came from left field late in the day, the norm is that one name will come tumbling down and into favourite then appointed soon after so it’s worth keeping an eye on in my book
  5. Tbf I really like Ferguson, have followed his career since his Dundee Utd days, he is a character and very well liked within the game, if you search him on Twitter you will find videos of him going out his way to find disabled Everton fans than he picks up and gives time to. I know this doesn’t mean anything in terms of how good he Could manage but he would be good with fans. he is credited with working with youth and I reckon there would be a good chance if he were appointment that unsworth would come with him , there is a chance of a really good team there but it’s also a gamble , one that I don’t feel we should be making as much as I like him
  6. And farke is drifting in the betting now, first time in about a week he is no longer favourite carvahal and the one I told you to look out for - Ferguson now joint at 7/2
  7. Haha sorry mate couldn’t resist, it’s good stuff tho so well recommended
  8. Grayson is in the 0.1 % of managers I’d not want over Tony mowbray , the Sunderland documentary put me right him off, he sounds like a baffoon in it
  9. Not heard of 99 crimes, is it more naughty than the well known 19 crimes label?
  10. Mowbray now that annoying guest that just won’t leave your house well after everyone else has , that you keep making hints for them to FO but they just don’t pick up on it. I see he has been heavily linked to football powerhouses Hartlepool , shows how he is really thought of despite the faux outrage of sky
  11. Nah not really when I told you what would happen at the start of the year if we stuck by mowbray as you wished , learn from history it’s what it’s good for
  12. Doesn’t always work that way, plenty of times managers that are good with one particular team with little funds moves to a bigger team with more funds and they just don’t know how to operate in that way.
  13. Fair enough, I can see why some fans would want him and listen if he comes in then he will get my backing, he isn’t mowbray so il be happy. Just opinions but he wouldn’t be my number 1
  14. I’m not one that puts any emphasis on being a blackburn lad, successful and able to bring in players to excite the fans as all i care about.
  15. He might well do, but it also might just be his style ala allardyce , I think it’s too big a risk to find out. As Iv said before this appointment might well be the biggest in the clubs history , it’s a real make or break moment , get it wrong and the fans will just never return and we will slowly tumble down the leagues , we need some kind of name to get fans returning. Ainsworth just isn’t it for me
  16. Ainsworths Wycombe remind me of 90s Wimbledon the crazy gang. I just don’t think that style will work here
  17. Job is too big for him and he comes across very dour in interviews and he is no name in football, Dundee Utd aren’t exactly setting the heather on fire , avoid please
  18. Depends if he wants Into management, really like him but as a manager hmm not for me but I was merely commenting on his odds coming down from 50s to 10s, somebody is putting money on him. courts is a no, don’t know where that’s came from but also down to 10s
  19. My top 5 realistic wish list 1. Bilic 2. farke 3. Danny Cowley 4. Michael carrick 5. Chris hughton so yea ainsworth isn’t in my top 5, I’d get behind him if he came here I just don’t see it working out. told you to keep an eye on Duncan Ferguson and his odds have came crashing down, same as tam courts and Neil Lennon, hope not , any of these would be an anticlimax
  20. Woodgate- world class defender , dog and duck manager, avoid keane- like him but stay in the media, him and venkys would be a disaster benni- liked him at rovers but I always thought he was a bit of a clown, can’t see him being a good manager, needs a few more brain cells one to watch- Duncan Ferguson has tumbled the last few days in the betting, again I like him but I wouldn’t want him as manager, I could see a venkys type appointment being him and unsworth together however mowbray meeting- exit interview
  21. On the out of contract three, personally don’t think any of them are premier league quality , if they can get a West Brom or that ilk to give them more money then fair play to them. Not unduly concerned about any of them going but for the fact it will cost a lot more to replace them which is probably money we don’t have. Out of the three if I could get one to stay it would be lenihan yet he is probably the one furthest away from prem quality , go figure.
