Are we obliged to sign zeefuik. He for one isn’t very good and two is made of breadsticks , I really don’t want to sign him -

Pathetic, does anyone really have any confidence in a mowbray masterclass to beat a top 6 team. I have 0 confidence everytime with the occasional blip that we get a result -

Late forest goal, glad because sheff Utd were stealing the win again. Forest are the best team behind Fulham for me -

Happy for the win today, we really needed it or playoffs we’re starting to look in the distance for us, as it is we are still up there with the pack. in future games we really need somebody with a bit of composure up top, we really need brereton back on form and dack to come back with the standards he had before first injury. Without that, we won’t win games we should, chances we missed this one won’t come with such abundance in future. Khadra needs to score those big chances. One that I kind of like but I wouldn’t rush to sign perm or even back next year on loan. Certainly no contest with his fellow loanee hecke who I would make every effort to sign perm. hedges as I said before he signed , is terrible. zeefuik looks so clumsy to me, he is a penalty waiting to happen. Fans love his strength in a tackle I imagine. Another I wouldn’t want us to sign. happy with the result, doesn’t quite make up for recent games but makes for a good Saturday evening . Thanks lads -
I see his strength in passing the ball about and pressing , both of which are suited to a deeper role. If he is to make a career higher up he needs to learn to shoot , be more creative and generally be a lot more usefull than he currently is. Is he a top class talent, I’m 50/50 , can look really good or really crap. As I said in his thread I’d like brereton in the deeper forward role as he is good at running with the ball and beating players, much in the Matt jansen mould. Problem with that is we don’t have a genuine striker up top which we needed to address in the summer and even more so In January. A Jordan hugill type might have been scorned at but it’s exactly what we needed. Im not totally convinced on either rothwell and to a lesser extent travis either. Few of our lads need to beef up a bit, brereton, rothwell and travis can all get bullied at times and that’s why we need the three bigger lads at the back
-
100% agree, what I said last week, buckley needs to be deeper and we need to sacrifice one of the three at the back for more up top. all those saying yea but it worked for a time are in the mowbray head in the sand camp. It very much is not working now. Football changes constantly and we have to adapt to that change. Quite simply we aren’t creating enough at the moment to win games
-
I said it was in spite of him and Stand by it, he is bollocks at turning games, lose games we should win , draw games we should see out etc. transfer window was a disgrace from the position we were in. Times up. Good riddance
-
Bigdogg , genuine question because we had a discussion the other day about it but are you still sticking by your mowbray has to use this formation and buckley up top? it clearly isn’t working and we aren’t scoring, we carry no attacking threat. yes we look somewhat solid at the back but if that’s impacting our attack then the best we can hope for is 0-0s, maybe a sneaky 1-0. Not for me
-
Bang average manager, delighted when he was potted. Same as I will be when mowbray finally goes
-
I disagree that he is poor in the air , not magnificent but he wins a lot of flick ons and he won a few in the opposition box the other night
-
Brereton was gallagher up u til this season and breretons game was always that, look at the highlights of him for forest v Arsenal in the cup. He was a lot closer coming In for his role as gallagher was coming in to be a wide attacker/ occasional defender. Strange signing if that was always mowbrays intention. signs of madness to do the same thing over and over expecting different results, are you happy with performances since early December or do we need a change? For me it needs to be changed and try get some momentum back
-
Rothwell can actually score and unlock though
-
See id rather buckley behind dictating play, nicking balls there and spreading it. I don’t actually think his through balls are that good if you watch, lot of times he plays the wrong or poor ball when given the chance, I’d say rothwell is more attacking minded than buckley. gallagher isn’t the best but being asked to run the channels ain’t his strength
-
Is he good at it though? Gallagher is wide right, not through the middle as is his best position
-
You know who is being played out of position- John buckley!! He isn’t an attacking mid. Dack is an attacking mid gallagher on the wing in general. There is plentyyyy of players I could give you that are/ have been playing out of position. I don’t get why you want us so rigid and one way of playing that clearly opposition managers have clicked onto now
