  1. Any Celtic manager that can get Celtic fans apathetic and dramatic attendance declines is surely a worry for rovers, simply can’t afford this kind of appointment
  2. https://thecelticstar.com/the-strange-strange-times-of-the-celtic-manager-ronny-deila/amp/ probably about all you need to know
  3. Everyone is waiting to be offended these days. I have absolutely not a care in the world of ur Norwegian, Portuguese, Chinese, Indian, Australian whatever if your good enough. Take everyone on merit. for the record I’d be happy with Knudsen, I wouldn’t be with deila, that doesn’t mean I don’t respect Norwegian managers. fact that berg and ogs are the only other two I know and think they are shit isn’t because they are Norwegian it’s because they are shit
  4. Sorry mate but I really don’t get the we all hate Norwegians line, some of my favourite rovers were Norwegians. I’m Scottish and lived most of my days in Glasgow so I’m well aware of the opinion on deila, it’s not good here
  5. Not sure I really get your point? Rangers got to the final of the Europa the other week
  6. I banded the delia name a few weeks ago and said at the time it would be an absolute joke appointment. We would be going from one laughing stock of a Celtic manager to another. The fans voted with their feet at Delia’s time there , hates his football and was horrific in Europe. I would much prefer warne or even ainsworth
  7. Warne is an intelligent guy who calls a spade a spade. Look up some of his interviews on YouTube if he isn’t known to you. Genuinely don’t see it as the worst appointment as much as it’s all paper talk and uncredible sources so far
  8. Actually quite like warne, speaks well in interviews. Would it be an exciting appointment no, but we could do a lot worse imo
  9. He was left back in January, February, March, may, June, July, august, September, October , November, and December too! sorry couldn’t resist
  10. Out or work- check previous championship success albeit in the distant past- check ex boro- check not been tipped whatsoever- check needs a club to throw him a bone as last job was a bit of a disaster- check If history tells us anything, all roads lead to Garry monk and I’m sticking by it! Haha
  11. Ha just noticed that I mentioned Ronny delia on here the other day who wasn’t on any betting table and he is now came in at 25/1 sorry anyone that thought I was tipping him , I was merely trying to suggest we were at the stage of going round the houses of everyone being given a shout out. wonder if my Garry monk suggestion will have the same effect
  12. I’m sure it’s a successful business, I just wish they had a better logo , it’s horrific on the shirts haha
  13. You will probably know more about these than me. I don’t have any names I just think the search may have to be expanded, a few of our initial targets haven’t been hooked. I know I said to watch out for Ferguson and unsworth but is it 1/3 close- I don’t believe so
  14. Probably make some of you wince but I don’t think Garry monk is the worst suggestion
  15. All getting a bit gurgled now, fact that bookies have us 1/3 for Ferguson and second best with farke show us that they haven’t a clue. my guess at this stage - a real unknown from Europe will come out of left field
  16. In the interests of fairness how so? I said he was identified as number 1 target, job was his if he wanted it but there was other interested parties and he had a week to decide what he was wanting to do. He wanted to bring in his own team that wasn’t what he felt was workable for him and he got a better offer elsewhere. A week to the day he was appointed elsewhere. Never said it was a done deal. Also was the first to say about Ferguson and was bang on about farke, I’d say that’s not bad info for you
  17. My info on farke was sadly correct and he was always holding out for a German gig
  18. BM= big mags the Ewood cleaner, currently 25/1 skybet for the hot seat
  19. If we are to go down the relatively inexperienced route- not that I particularly want to- but if we were, I’d go xabi alonso
  20. It’s not good , and shows not a lot has been learned from past mistakes
  21. At this stage, my money is on woodgate, they have totally ballsed up carvalhal, shambles. farke I said would be my number 1 right at the start however he was more interested in a job back in Germany as appears the case
