  1. Meh , the Sunderland keeper ain’t for me , in so much as he doesn’t excite me but I’d support him if he moved here. Think there is a few other keepers being looked at, he is 1/3 I’m led to believe
  2. Terrific result, done me out of a ton on my coupon hit il take that hit every week for that result. also pleased with gallagher, one of the few who has stood up for him. Think there is more to come , def a player there just hasn’t showed it yet
  3. Can’t say I saw any of him in a rovers shirt, picked up a few of when he was out on loan. Unnecessary signings seems to be a mowbray trait
  4. Sam hart out of contract in the summer? We might have well just let him go, perennial loanee , waste of time. Either give him a chance or move him on. Signing somebody and then loaning him out his entire contract is madness. Throwing wages away
  5. I’m in agreement with mani, liked Rhodes when he was here but could see limitations with regards to pace, hold up, chances created for fellow players, he was by all intent and purposes a finisher in the box. In Scotland where I live there is a player kris boyd, scores by the barrel load, but put him in England and he is woeful because the rest of his game isn’t there. min right environment he is useful, not our one currently
  6. Yea but he can find a new club off his own back, we aren’t demanding a fee , free to move if he does , if not he will be a sub here until the summer an agreement will be reached then , probably with him giving a final few years to Scotland. His preference is abroad however as they can match his wages
  7. Basically been told the same at Wigan as here, didn’t see point of sticking it out to be in same boat in the summer, came back to pursue a final payday for a couple of seasons abroad in order to settle family. Not that hard to understand
  8. It’s tighter granted but there is always folk that will throw a bit of info out
  9. Yea which would be great if we had wingers whipping balls in or attacking mids unlocking defences and creating a lot of chances. Play the way we are , and have done since mowbray arrived, pumping long balls/ set pieces/ breakaway goals and we don’t play to Rhodes strengths at all. Even when he was here first time round he had more quality to provide for him. It’s also a no goer, think we should put this to bed. Celtic would be great for him, comes alive in the box for a dominant team , good finisher from pen box in
  10. Don’t get the Rhodes desire personally and Iv heard nothing to suggest we are even interested. Unicorn journalism is my betting, think he can stop being mentioned now
  11. Rhodes- no. We don’t create. Luxury player which we don’t have foundations for mulgrew- mls or oz although does still have a house in Kirkintilloch but I can’t see him matching money in Scotland
  12. I’m sure this has a deep meaning but it’s over my head mate haha. unkess it’s an actual player, I don’t know him
  13. Haven’t heard , think chaddy was on this one. Not one my source has knowledge of to be honest
  14. A foreign left back- possibly French, most certainly unheard of was in to discuss a loan Monday. I don’t have a name sadly
  15. I would too, impressed me every time Iv seen him. I would say 80-20 in favour of not happening at the moment however
  16. Gayle just got injured , not going anywhere, never mind the millions of transfer fee we don’t have. I agree with those that said gallagher has something, I think there is a lot more to come from him, I just don’t think mowbray is the man to get it out of him. Playing him up top would help. Granted I don’t think he is ever going to be prolific, but I see a player in the mould of a Ricky lambert. I think a more predatory finisher would love a gallagher beside him to be a battering ram. Him and Armstrong could work in my opinion if given time. anyway- I beat the lanc telegraph again with the Curtis pursuit.
  17. Trying to raise capital by selling samuel, if he goes then we are bringing somebody in. We don’t let samual and brereton go with nobody brought in. Good sign if both go
  18. Tbf the barbers like when you put your head down so they can cut your hair , not sure he would come bouncing in to get his locks chopped, he would look a bit mad
  19. Yes but pompy gambling on promotion, asking for 3 mill, which we don’t have
  20. One particular fit that mowbray likes- as do I- but is unlikely due to money wanted is Ronan Curtis from pompy. Maddison was the back up to this but with Curtis looking unlikely and Maddison talking to Charlton they are having to act fast or will end up with neither- probably the most likely scenario. He is wanting to free armstrong from the wing to focus on up top with dacks goals missing, he sees armstrong as the guy for goals. Struggling with raising capital though. Trying to get a few out the door
  21. Not my understanding of the tosin deal btw, I imagine he will move on sometime soon but there is nothing in place with us. Regarding the other loanee players still being on the website it’s simply because they were loaned at a later date so still with the squad when they made that- roberts was only loaned the other day as I reported last week brereton was told by mowbray to sort out a loan move, his agent has been branding his name around. Would mean samuel staying unless another replacement- cheap- can be sourced
  22. See my choice for a long time, Pearson is doing miracles at Watford. When asked deeney what the key was- manager has us well set out and gone back to basics reminding us what our jobs are. Sigh, if only. Missed a trick there 100%
  23. Didn’t allardyce basically give the bigger teams a bye against us and kept our better players for the games against the smaller teams? I’m sure I can recall some mullerings, 7 goal batterings against Man Utd, arsenal . One of my biggest criticisms of Sam
