  1. Think you underestimate how far removed venkys are from reality of supporter unrest . Also entails a big restructure and firing/ hiring that would entail a lot of time/effort on their part
  2. Haha , nothing concrete, few enquiries with our own players and trying to replace Cunningham
  3. There was a sacking before the sacking of bowyer , and he didn’t have his friends controlling the buttons
  4. I got grief in the summer for saying I wanted a winger in as I was told unless Tony sees a winger he feels was value then it would be Armstrong’s position, which I didn’t see working out. for all he is a fast wee bugger, he can’t cross and skies every 2/3 shots. Seen more sweat on Prince Andrew than 90 mins of armstrong
  5. Few squad players moved on, evans Smallwood, samuel and a sad goodbye to graham who jets off to sunnier climes and in return - 1 transfer and a couple of loans. venkys not willing to throw money at neither a playoff push nor a relegation battle. Mid table obscurity and a promise to get it right in the summer for a promotion push next season. going nowhere with mowbray sorry
  6. Maddison, Ronan Curtis, darragh leahy, Danny mandroui, Matt turner to name but a few names I’d like in just over a month
  7. I still haven’t heard one murmer of the manager feeling the heat from upstairs or in the media. I want him gone as much as anyone but I just can’t see it
  8. Hopefully. Would be about time. Been terrible for about a season now
  9. I don’t get the wanting us to lose to be honest, if it was fact that if we lost mowbray would be sacked then yes absolutely I’d be for that but as it is we need to stay in this league , relegation would be an utter disaster so 3 welcome points. There has been absolutely no sniff from media or club sources mowbray is in trouble , sadly. I don’t think we are going to get rid that easy with the position of power he has
  10. Ohh god there has been a few, off top of my head and I’m aware a lot has been covered already, shebby singh signing myles Anderson’s son souness’s men vs boys comment about Celtic only to get spanked in the second leg batterings by Man Utd and arsenal 7-0ish flitcroft being the footballer that was named by the sun as trying to get an injunction as he was playing away with a stripper Yorke and Cole looking like strangers when they were expected to recreate their Man Utd days and currently, empty stadium when on sky cameras
  11. Yea a story likes this comes up every few months, sadly can’t see any substance to it, more likely a Newcastle buyer than us. I remember writing to red bull when there was talk of them buying an English team, my argument being their can suits our strip perfectly ? needless to say they replied with a not at the moment sorry
  12. Busted flush, dinosaur, can’t turn around poor spells. Honestly his reputation in Scotland is dug meat after a horrendous spell at Celtic- an easy job. Where are you getting this image he is respected because it’s laughable. When at West Brom he was but since, no
  13. Would folk stop spouting the boro would come calling nonsense, never going to happen, mowbray isn’t well respected in footballing circles, there would be uproar in boro I’d they potted wood gate and brought struggling mowbray in. Never in a million years is that scenario going to happen so we can just can that one now
  14. Genuinely can’t see it, owners don’t seem to have their ear to the ground around ewood, probably think the fans are content. Might have to do my letter pleading to the owners again
  15. Think to say it’s the worst it’s been is maybe a tad dramatic, it’s not as bad as kean or coyle days, but yes it’s still hard to get motivated by this currently
  16. Think the difference here though is that when mowbray leaves Ewood for the last time, he is walking out on football. I think this is his last job
  17. Saying be careful what you wish for isn’t necessarily support for mowbray, after all he left the club in mowbrays tenure...
  18. Wow, sadly missed this post earlier in the season but those stats are wild. Knew that we were hopeless at late goals and coming back though, was one of the first to want to bin Tony as was never convinced , these stats back up why. Great post
