  1. For the points I mentioned, we gave him a good and respectful deal last season, he could show the same back. From what Iv heard he has been offered same terms as last year but he is hoping for something better or a return to boro. We need to know if we have a position to fill and wages to use up, of course I’m thinking about the clubs view, no room for sentiment in this business and this time of year
  2. Sign or say your not signing, rodwell all over again. We don’t have time to pee about
  3. Downing can do one as far as I’m concerned. Giving the fingers to the club and fans, there wasn’t a clamour to sign him last season, there will be even less now, we have gave him good game time, fan support and a decent wage, if he wanted to sign again he would’ve by now. He was ok last season, I wouldn’t say set the place alight , you can be replaced with a younger model as far as I’m concerned, see ya
  4. Technically not true it’s just we play forwards out there instead of actual wide men but I think we are looking at a few players that can give us width
  5. My info isn’t that reliable these days, Covid playing havoc. Free’s and cheap European I believe is what we will see. We are still short in a lot of areas, all across defence, wingers and a replacement for graham. I expect another 4, 2 loans
  6. No, was just told that it was more than likely our next keeper would be coming from abroad and cheap. Mentioned that Russian lad from the Swiss league so not surprised it’s a European league keeper. Would not be surprised if our second keeper was someone experienced and free - like rob Elliot
  7. Likes a dribble this lad, Tony will have a heart attack
  8. Our foreign market scouting network seem to have stopped at Germany and only Germany. Every name I’m getting is a German division player - most pretty unheard of
  9. Don’t know him to be honest, last played with sion in Switzerland
  10. Some rumblings Iv heard although the main one being we are very tight with money and nothing is remotely close lindsay deal looking complicated- starting to look at alternatives. Elliot Moore and bailey wright mentioned- neither close. goalkeepers- looking at the freebs foreign market but issues getting them over to look at- fancy mitryushkin but nowhere near front of the queue other freebs - timo letschert. We raided the Hamburg cast offs last season, probably nothing mowbray wants an experienced striker to replace graham as he knows current mob are inexperienced- wants to talk to chris Martin to see if wages could be Negotiated. Too high currently. rudy gestede has also been put in front of mowbray but seems unlikely believe Cunningham will end up back here. a few loans will also be coming from the usual sources- big clubs youngsters might just be one keeper coming with fisher promoted to back up
  11. None sorry, my contacts aren’t in their usual office so away from day to day dealings. In the dark as much as everyone else. Frustrated by our lack of getting deals in early though. Usual last minute panic ahead
  12. I find mowbrays tenure more frustrating than any other rovers manager in history, including the ones we all hate. Just edges ahead of bowyer but at least bowyer was good at the transfer game
  13. Look to be slow on the uptake and clubs nicking in front of us again. Nobody else bored by the repetitive nature of Blackburn just now, needs a shot in the arm. I for one need a change as I currently have no motivation for this team and regime. If we don’t it’s another season of looking like we might have promise to ultimately fall back into mid table when the heat gets turned up a notch
  14. For me that’s always going to happen with raya, does a lot well but throws some right clangers in. I wasn’t too sad to get rid but we don’t get rid when we don’t have a better replacement signed sealed and delivered. And we gave them raya on the cheap. It’s poor management for me. Kinda wanted Brentford to win though. I can’t forgive Fulham for nicking cairney and reed from us and in return have us Murphy and etuhu. They have pulled our pants down for 10 years
  15. James Chester- yes please
  16. Team is too lightweight/ small for me
  17. Lost the heid in an old firm game, never seen again. Actually isn’t the worst but very much working off lists C and D if that’s the calibre we are looking at
  18. Nah doubt I will, offices are pretty much shut up. Good for keeping targets quiet. My links aren’t at the club currently so I’m in the dark as much as anyone
  19. Would need to shed another to bring a striker in. Currently gallagher, Armstrong , brereton vying for 1 spot up top, can’t see them throwing wages at another to add for that place
  20. Not a lot to get excited about here , be nice if we were on windows from the off for once. We had plenty of time to identify what and who we needed
  21. No debate for me, Armstrong all day long
  22. As much as I agree, I can’t see it
  23. I stopped bleating first mowbray to go months ago as I felt like a stuck record, I had red flags all over the promotion season when the going was good never mind now. he is rank average and I am really concerned about the next season, when two of our starters are loans and we don’t have money to buy. Our youngsters bar travis don’t look like they are going to be anything much if I’m being honest. Time may tell me different on that one wasted huge amounts on our strikers, neither of which will ever find the back of the net regularly- that’s fact not a maybe. I mean who scouted brereton, can’t believe we scouted and pursued him so hard when he is soooo bad. I will admit I was pleased with gallagher , mainly because I remember a cracking goal he scored at ewood when in the youths cup and I thought he looked a player but sadly he looks lost here ala Kevin Davies. mowbray just doesn’t have it for me, we don’t play good football, there appears to be no plan, certainly no plan b. The team needs a complete overhaul in personnel and style and he isn’t the man to do that. break the bank for Chris hughton now
  24. Nope , just would like the keeper situation cleared up before another summer saga
