  1. Some folk want to have a go at gallagher far too easily, some are the same folk that want to praise brereton for very little on Tuesday night. We are a fickle bunch at times. Samuel played well and deserves his praise however he was playing in his position up top, gallagher hasn’t been given the same luxury of late and instead asked to do a wingers job, same wingers job that made armstrong look fairly average until he was given job up top where he has flourished. I would just rather we bought wingers for wingers jobs and strikers for striking jobs. All being said I am very happy with the result today. Few more wins and we will be right in amongst it, history tells us this is when we struggle but it has to change sometime
  2. Excellent result , from a poor performance against Fulham, an ok one against hull, that’s a very good performance so we have been getting better as the weeks went on, if we beat Brentford I may just start to believe.....
  3. Time to shit our pants at Brentford ? let’s break through that wall
  4. Sounds like we are playing really well , keep it up lads
  5. I would like to see Davenport and brereton, we have invested a lot in these lads and in general we haven’t seen enough of them, give them both a run. If they aren’t good enough would be time to cut our losses in the summer
  6. Samba excellent again today, standard we should aim for. Easily 10 points extra over the course of the season
  7. Can’t lose, will accept a draw but a loss and it’s typical us/mowbray and season over
  8. Burnley have been spoilt for keepers and players in general during dyche’s reign, rate both pope and Heaton before him and then trippier and ings were unreal players up there with our Hughes era. Just hope it’s swings and roundabouts and we get back above them someday
  9. Yea samba is the best keeper in the champ , we should be looking for similar to this quality
  10. All factors when considering if it’s worth signing him surely
  11. Let’s not be ridiculous, on what grounds do we make the playoffs? We will lose more than we win imo
  12. I don’t hate him but he will be overpriced coming from a prem team/ English/ high wages, I think the goalkeeping position is one we should be scouting for the in the cheaper European market. Going through the English leagues and I don’t see much to think they would be worth splashing out on , open to suggestions and I will do some research on them
  13. Don’t think any Blackburn fan can be accused of neediness or entitlement because they certainly haven’t had much to feel entitled to the past 10 years
  14. Yup fair enough, I was just frustrated after 90 mins on sat and 70 minutes last night, it’s a long time to be annoyed. When breakthrough finally came it was more relief than enjoyment for me. Would’ve liked to have seen a few more step up, but there was a few positives too. I would love to see us more fluid though. Still waiting on this mowbray brand I keep getting promised
  15. Nah the opposition really were rubbish last night, if we beat Fulham I would’ve been impressed
  16. I agree with you, that’s the most sensible post I have seen
  17. Were you happy at 70 minutes? Added to that the performance against Fulham and it’s happening again. Happy we got the win but now need to back that up against Charlton
  18. Totally don’t recall those as close or real chances. Armstrong off the line?
  19. Nope it’s my opinion , Not asking folk to agree , happy to have a debate, the wee petty digs are uncalled for imo. did we deserve it - yes. were hull playing reserves and new signings losing the last 5 and worst team in the league currently- yes. we were ok, certainly not as good as some are making out.
  20. Armstrong’s in first minute, a simple straight at him header is all I can remember in terms of chances. jackson Irvine has a free header and a few times we looked like causing ourselves problems by not dealing with balls into our box. Yes the final 15 minutes were good and makes it look comfortable but hull pretty much imploded for us. I’m not happy with mid table your right for whoever point that was. I strive for more and make no apology for doing so
  21. Think your reading too much into it and all fair comments
  22. 73 minutes of pure frustration, 73 minutes of being unable to breach Hull academy’s back line. We may have had a lot of the ball but it was all huff and puff with very little quality. The 12 minute flurry of goals was nice but I didn’t think the 90 minute performance was great and Hull did threaten on occasion. Hit the bar, few last gasp clearances and missed a free header, that look like we’re all forgotten by most fans. i maybe a harsh critic but I always want more from rovers until we are performing like a top 6 side and will make no apology for that. If that makes me sound silly then I’m going to sound silly. I think fans deserve more than we are currently serving up. Any other champ team tonight and we don’t win that one on that performance. But let’s bag the 3 points and move on. If we have any aspirations we must beat Charlton and get some momentum / consistency
  23. I ask who for you played well? Iv seen far more convincing and fluent 3-0 wins in my day
  24. Side tackle hence the ball went right , Ben knocks ball from out his feet , it’s a pen
