For the first time in mowbrays tenure I actually seen some sort of style on Saturday, I mean it was a give up possession and hit on the break kind of style which goes against his supposed keep ball good football style everyone seems to suggest he brings but a style and method all the same.

Honestly can’t complain about the result today and thought we played about as well I could’ve hoped. Was ashame their goal came when it did as we looked to have weathered the storm well and could see out the game. Came from absolutely nothing. Their pen wasn’t a pen but Johnson shouldn’t have gave the ref the option. Up until then I felt we got the majority of the refs decisions who I thought was shocking to both throughout. Thought travis was immense, has became a very important player for us. Walton and nyambe were also very good. Armstrong took his goals well but I still think he needs to lift his head at times - evident in his one v one , not looking for the correct side of the keeper. But happy with his progress. very few negatives but thought downing was poor, even right at the death he had the opportunity to fire a corner in and instead lofted it to the edge of their box which nearly set them on a breakaway. johnson was the player I hoped we had signed but as mentioned rash on the pen and was a bit overly dirty at times. buckley- still to make my mind up if I like him or not to be honest. Neat and tidy but needs to show a bit more. though gallagher looked decent when he came on, relieved some pressure from our box and was unlucky with a run into theirs. im not as confident as most against stoke and Swansea but if we can take 6 points from them, it’s game on

I’d take it, disappointed after leading by two but a worldie and a non pen so the lads done well to hold on from that. Ours wasn’t exactly a pen either. Happy with the point in the end. Thought arma might have been on right at the death

Like him but he still needs to learn to lift his head when he is running. He gets the ball and it’s head down looking to get into a space where he can shoot when it’s not always the best option. Having said that I believe he is the best finisher we have, even above Graham who wouldn’t score the goals from outside the box that Armstrong can

Fair enough, I have no issue with that. I felt we made hard work of Hull when they were terrible and there for a hammering, but yesterday I kind of preparing myself for a poor result so they surprised me but not following the norm. I don’t follow sheep, rightly or wrongly have my own opinion which il stand by. But yes I agree with your main point, and point scoring off fellow fans isn’t on

To be fair mate it’s a lot easier to talk about where you think we went wrong or what we could do different rather than yup great result, played well. Same again next game. Which is why losses will go pages more than wins

Let’s not get too carried away mate, we failed against Fulham , got past a very weak hull team but today was a good result. I found his interview very unambitious however, almost as if he doesn’t want promotion hmm

Great result today, pretty poor after match interview, basically saying don’t get excited we have injury concerns so we probably won’t make it

Some folk want to have a go at gallagher far too easily, some are the same folk that want to praise brereton for very little on Tuesday night. We are a fickle bunch at times. Samuel played well and deserves his praise however he was playing in his position up top, gallagher hasn’t been given the same luxury of late and instead asked to do a wingers job, same wingers job that made armstrong look fairly average until he was given job up top where he has flourished. I would just rather we bought wingers for wingers jobs and strikers for striking jobs. All being said I am very happy with the result today. Few more wins and we will be right in amongst it, history tells us this is when we struggle but it has to change sometime

Excellent result , from a poor performance against Fulham, an ok one against hull, that’s a very good performance so we have been getting better as the weeks went on, if we beat Brentford I may just start to believe.....
