  1. I would too, impressed me every time Iv seen him. I would say 80-20 in favour of not happening at the moment however
  2. Gayle just got injured , not going anywhere, never mind the millions of transfer fee we don’t have. I agree with those that said gallagher has something, I think there is a lot more to come from him, I just don’t think mowbray is the man to get it out of him. Playing him up top would help. Granted I don’t think he is ever going to be prolific, but I see a player in the mould of a Ricky lambert. I think a more predatory finisher would love a gallagher beside him to be a battering ram. Him and Armstrong could work in my opinion if given time. anyway- I beat the lanc telegraph again with the Curtis pursuit.
  3. Trying to raise capital by selling samuel, if he goes then we are bringing somebody in. We don’t let samual and brereton go with nobody brought in. Good sign if both go
  4. Tbf the barbers like when you put your head down so they can cut your hair , not sure he would come bouncing in to get his locks chopped, he would look a bit mad
  5. Yes but pompy gambling on promotion, asking for 3 mill, which we don’t have
  6. One particular fit that mowbray likes- as do I- but is unlikely due to money wanted is Ronan Curtis from pompy. Maddison was the back up to this but with Curtis looking unlikely and Maddison talking to Charlton they are having to act fast or will end up with neither- probably the most likely scenario. He is wanting to free armstrong from the wing to focus on up top with dacks goals missing, he sees armstrong as the guy for goals. Struggling with raising capital though. Trying to get a few out the door
  7. Not my understanding of the tosin deal btw, I imagine he will move on sometime soon but there is nothing in place with us. Regarding the other loanee players still being on the website it’s simply because they were loaned at a later date so still with the squad when they made that- roberts was only loaned the other day as I reported last week brereton was told by mowbray to sort out a loan move, his agent has been branding his name around. Would mean samuel staying unless another replacement- cheap- can be sourced
  8. See my choice for a long time, Pearson is doing miracles at Watford. When asked deeney what the key was- manager has us well set out and gone back to basics reminding us what our jobs are. Sigh, if only. Missed a trick there 100%
  9. Didn’t allardyce basically give the bigger teams a bye against us and kept our better players for the games against the smaller teams? I’m sure I can recall some mullerings, 7 goal batterings against Man Utd, arsenal . One of my biggest criticisms of Sam
  10. Hold my hands up, I wasn’t too disheartened by Allardyce’s sacking at the time. I got caught up in the new owners, ambitious haze that was going around. Thought if we were going to move forward we needed one of the new breed of foreign managers that were the craze at the time, mourinho, villas boas etc and sams football was dated and rigid. The appointment after was when it all went wrong and I’d have taken Allardyce back in a heartbeat after found out it was to be he who will not be named. What I did learn from that is to be a bit more patient and careful what I wish for. So despite this , I still strongly believe mowbrays time is up and it’s time to be more ambitious again. Hopefully venkys have also learned from past mistakes and get it right this time
  11. Il throw a left field name out although I’m sure I have mentioned it before. paul warne. Always been impressed by him, talks well in interviews, shows passion for his team, gets his teams up for big games- play off finals, used to working with limited budgets, can find gems. team play to their strengths and a decent brand of football. reckon he could be our sean dyche. Be nice if our owners went and pinched a manager instead of sacking and waiting for the out of work cvs to come in , would show a bit of research and forward thinking . Easy way to appease fans in my book
  12. Don’t know him but he sounds like trippier, who was the last champ rb I thought was head and shoulders above the league
  13. As I said in the build up, I’m numb to rovers at the moment, nothing excites me about the team currently, from manager, first team squad, potential January signings, style of play. It’s all so... meh. Run of the mill, going through the motions. Season died when dack got busted. Mowbray is nothing, not inspiring or tactically astute. I am just struggling to get into it at all. Sounds like today was a reflection of my feelings. Need a change, the fans need a change
  14. Nope other than it’s very quiet on the transfer front, can see a couple of loans to buy and that will be our lot. More outgoings than incomings , none of which I’m greatly sad to lose with either loss of talent through age or never had talents leaving
  15. Mgp, Whelen, Berra and McKenna - ohhhh dear lord, these are all off the scale terrible Maddison, Jones would be pleasing
  16. Money plus Dom samuel for Ivan Toney- a player I have long made pleas for. Not a rumour btw just wishful thinking
  17. The sad truth? I almost don’t care. Promotion is miles off, mowbray is still in charge, no players I’m particularly fond of without dack, no new faces before the game I imagine, it’s going through the motions
  18. Why I believe this poster to be one I listen to more than any other, will call a spade a spade and not be blinded just because they are a Rover. Absolutely respect that
  19. You want some past facts, mowbray goes on horrendous defeat sequences, relegation when we had a chance to save ourselves, second when we had a chance to win the league, spunking money up the wall on transfers not to mention wages on the likes of whittingham, not strengthening defence when it’s obvious it needs to be, awful style of football, players out of position, not developing younger players. And quite frankly brereton. that enough history and facts for you? Absolutely insane poster , move on your boring me now
  20. You can leave off with the I’m scared of who they would appoint and records in league one, we have heard it and quite honestly nobody cares anymore, we are looking to the future, you can remain in the past
  21. Stop living in fear, you make this same point over and over again, it’s tiresome and annoying
  22. Think your a troll , your def on your own anyway
  23. So the keeper we all knew isn’t good enough turns out that he isn’t good enough. Mowbray masterclass. Been advocating his removal since halfway through league one, has bumbled his way through his entire time here, enough is enough
  24. Doesn’t thrill me, we already have a attacking mid German who is a lot more established, can we not just get him to speed. If we are to replace dack then I’d want somebody a bit better than that
  25. All the best to your laddie in the game, need to have a strong core to be a keeper, you pretty much get pelters and blame from the off, not to mention organising defence
