  1. Johnson until the end of the season, see how he goes. If an opportunity arises with a name that can turn this club around arrives in the summer, take it. I wanted Pearson but he is turning Watford around instead sadly
  2. Well didn’t take long for my swimming against the tide mowbray caution to bear fruit. still still still want the guy away from this club my main crimes - never creating a fluid team in his tenure, it’s so stop start it’s unreal. It’s never pretty it’s grinding. - transfers, gallagher and brereton especially are sackable on their own. I really want them to come good but it’s not happening. I still think there is a player in gallagher and he won a lot of headers and flicks today but needs someone to work with - body language on the sidelines, praise on players not worthy and condemning other. Travis has been reigned in and looks average now. Bigging up other teams all the time, just stop has to go for me if we have ambitions on top 6 next season
  3. Yup sure as Xmas dem mowbray defeats are coming . Another poor performance
  4. Sum up feelings right now with- we aren’t a top 6 squad. Do you feel confident in every player in every position, until we are we aren’t going anywhere. We have players that turn up 1 game in 5 and some that just aren’t good enough. We will never batter a team by 3-4, instead grind out nicked wins, which you can’t do forever. Wasted money on non 8/10 players every game which we can’t afford to. That’s where we are
  5. Iv got to say, all those clamouring from rothwell must be feeling a bit silly now. Nowhere near the answer. Show pony with no end product and dangerous liability, doesn’t keep the ball well enough, league one player
  6. See my strongly tipped mowbray replacement Pearson is turning Watford’s season around, missed a trick there
  7. Your probably right but the thing about the champ this season, I don’t think any of them are horrific teams and all capable of going on a run. All will probably feel a little hard done by being in the bottom 3. Put it this way, I wouldn’t feel confident of us beating any of them
  8. Rothwell seems to bounce off crowd noise, if he does something well and the crowd get a bit of noise going it seems to give him confidence in wanting the ball whereas if he does something badly it seems to effect his confidence and goes into hiding
  9. Armstrong can’t play unless it’s breakaways, he has one asset in pace, but put a defender back there to face him up and he has no skill to get past him, loses it everytime. I can’t even really blame him tho he isn’t a winger and never will be. Ohh to have a winger with a bit of trickery and an eye for a cross/ goal. To cover the dack injury I’d actually buy a winger and play gallagher/graham with armstrong up top
  10. Wasn’t implying dack would be sold although the plan was to sell him in the summer I believe, an agreement he had with rovers management for a shot at the prem, that’s now in doubt. People can say holtby and rothwell but do either look like hitting the net consistently. Dack was almost a striker , I wouldn’t class either of them two as
  11. Wonder if dacks injury impacts our January transfer targets. Can’t say we don’t have time to react as per last year days into February
  12. Thought downing was terrible , didn’t find a Blackburn player all game, lenihan very lacklustre at times, as was Williams but he saved lenihan bacon second half. Graham was spent. Armstrong terrible. Travis didn’t offer anything really. Nyambe wasted good positions. Rothwell glimpses but not enough. Johnson looked decent when he came on, should’ve started. Walton very assuresd. Dack injury a nightmare. Terrible terrible night. Merry Xmas to all my fellow rovers
  13. I really dislike cook but you know what at least he shows passion and anger at his players when they mess up, I hate when mowbray just stands there sometimes like he is lost
